Errands. What a way to waste the day. She didn't want to pick up her clothes from the dry cleaner, but she didn't have any more clothes to wear. And she didn't want to go to the side market down the street, but she needed a few supplies of food and batteries for her nintendo ds. She picked up the bag of supplies and the plastic covered clothes and carried them to her car, only to find that there was a ticket on her windshield. Stuffing the bags and clothes in the back seat, she walked up to the ticket, bending over and lifting her leg for more oomph to get to the paper. She took it from her wiper blade and examined the reason, grumbling as she read.
"Today is Sunday! I don't get a ticket. Free parking!" She grumbled aloud, ignoring the rush of people on the streets. There was always someone listening at this time of day. Especially on the streets. They had jobs to get to and probably didn't want to be late. It was a beautiful morning, around 9am and Kasper was dressed in a white dress, usually made for a more intimate occasion. Her lips were pink and her dark hair was up in a messy bun, adorned with a white band to give it a little more pop. She was done up more for simple errands than most women were. It was as if she was going to a jazz club rather than grocery shopping.

It was bright and early on Sunday morning, but instead of sleeping in, Taylor had to work today. Now that she was committed, she liked to spoil her partner as much as possible. And money didn't grow on trees, you know. So she had to drag herself out of bed. The salon was still setting up, so she decided to go out and walk around for a while. Of course, she spent the majority of her time standing, so one would think that she would just want to chill out in her jeep or at a coffee shop, but Taylor never was one to stay still. Besides, there was a client that she was avoiding, mostly because she was dating someone now and she knew how quickly rumors spread in this town.
It was difficult for her, because she was so used to hanging around with people, mostly women, and not have to worry about dropping hints or pick up lines. Truth be told, she could spit them out faster than a gumball machine. But she didn't feel the need for that anymore, since she already had what she wanted, so she just had to make it through the day. Hopefully she would run into an old friend instead of a crazy ex. Those never ended up well. She had a pretty strong will now, which couldn't be said for her a few years back. It was strange how quickly one changed.
Passing by a small parking lot, she stopped midstep and stared for a moment, almost swearing that she knew the stranger. What would it hurt to take a closer look? She took a few steps forward, hearing what she said about tickets, and she couldn't help but chuckle. Same old Kasper. Though she couldn't say that she liked parking tickets either. "You too, huh?" she said as she walked over to stand beside her, leaning lightly against the car as she glanced at the ticket in her hands. "I could've sworn that I saw some bicycles being fined too. They're on a roll, the bastards."
It wasn't hard to see Kasper's natural beauty, especially with what she was wearing, but Taylor never found herself attracted to her in that way. They were friends and she didn't have many of those, so Taylor naturally tried to humor her friend as much as possible. "I'm sure we can find a way to get back at them, if you're up to the challenge." She gave her a playful grin as she spoke, knowing that she was a bit of a bad influence. But everyone needed a little bad in their system.
