"i'm not good at a lot of things. i'm a good sleeper. ergg, i play the guitar and piano pretty well- oh, and i can sing. yeah, pretty stupid, if you ask me. but i'm being honest. hmm, i'm pretty good with kids, too. and i'm a listener. i can run pretty well, and i'm good at sports. i have a pretty steady hand, so photography is something i'm good at, as well. and i make a killer omelet."

"i'm a bit germaphobic, and i tend to get on people's backs when they're unorganized. only sometimes. not all the time. i tend to procastinate and exhaggerate, as well. i'm a bit awkward at times, and i'm definately not the conversation starter. i tend to keep to myself during parties and get togethers, and i stay home most of the time. my friends tease me for being anti social. oh, and i'm pretty bad at sharing my feelings, too. i'm just not as open as normal people, i guess."

"music. anything music. listening to music, playing the guitar, and the piano. i like cars, too. videogames are amazing. and sex. sex is awesome. except i'm not going to admit that if i were talking to anyone i didn't know. but i'd have to admit. ermmm, i like water- i swim. and i like running. or anything else that involves sweating. i don't know, i find it peaceful when i excercise sometimes. i like food. i love eating. i'm into photography and stuff like that, too. "i'm not really scared of anything that could happen to me physically. like, i'm not scared of dying and shit like that. but i don't know, i guess rejection has been a big one. that's probably why i really don't open up about anything in my personal life. but other than that, i'm pretty much brave as rock."

"i wanna be a photographer. live paycheck to paycheck. and take more risks. maybe rent a new york apartment."

"i'm quiet. and mysterious. and i don't complain a lot. pretty much, what you see is what you don't get. because you'd have to know me pretty damn well to claim that you know me. i'm friendly, and i can talk to people. but i'm a bit shy at first. i always have, so really, i can't change that. i sometimes mutter stuff to myself, so don't think i'm weird. yes, i talk to myself. but it's not like i have anyone else to talk to. oh, and i space out a lot. i don't know. i think real hard sometimes."

"most probably, the first thing i look for is an attractive person. i'm very distinct when it comes to partners. for girls, i love the really girly kind. long, blonde hair, a pretty laugh, and for the guys, a more dominant figure is more like it. muscular, cute face. the personality, of course is the next thing. they must be nice, or at least to me."

"they're cool. my dad's name is jasper torrent. he's a bank manager, so he basically provides for everything in the family. and my mom's name is victoria. she stayes at home. and makes sure i get up in the morning. she used to do commercial modelling. but she stopped when i was born."

"one time i went fishing with my dad. i don't know, nowadays, he's just so busy. i kinda miss him. but yeah, that fishing trip was the best. we caught the fish and cooked them over open fire, and then we ate it. it smelled like shit, but it was all worth while. and it just so happened to be the same time my dad talked to me about the birds and the bees. but i was cool with it. it wasn't like i already knew that, anyway."

"i remember one time when my mother had to get her appendix taken out. i don't know, it was scary. she was fine one moment, and then all of the sudden, she had an aching pain in her side. dad rushed her to the hospital and i was left at home with the nanny. i didn't know what had happened until the next day. i couldn't sleep that night."

Jasper sighed. weekends were a bummer for him, mainly because he didn't have anything to do. he didn't like going to the mall or driving around town. it all seemed too boring. jasper was the kind of person who would prefer staying home. anti-social, as his mother called it. the cause of jasper's sigh was because he was starting to believe that he was, indeed, anti-social. but then again, who would want to leave a house full of doritos and HD television? but still. he missed hanging out with people. he hadn't seen faces other than his mother's since two days ago, and if it was anything, the encounter would simply be a smile or a small conversation.
He got up from his comfortable position on the couch. for some reason, he prefered watching television upside down. but then again, if you were this bored, you'd try anything. he decided to call someone. he wanted the company. he grabbed his cellphone and looked at his list to choose from. afton's number popped up first. of course- he started with an A. afton was pretty cool. if he could pick anyone to come over, it would be afton. he was funny, he was outgoing, not to mention the fact that jasper had a crush on him. afton didn't know, of course. no one knew. he wasn't ready to open up about himself being bi. jasper, himself, was in denial that he was. his mother had raised him on christian morals and values. liking someone of the same gender was simply a sin that could open a slot in hell before you even died.
Jasper decided to text him instead. he had gotten butterflies in his stomach, although it would sound really stupid if he told anyone about it. dude, wanna come over? we can play a few video games or something. he punched in the keys, a little uneasy when he texted the word 'played'. jasper was just weird that way. he walked upstairs as he texted, not even looking at the screen. when you've had a cellphone for at least five years, you got used to texting without looking. he had sent the text before he had gotten up the stairs. he walked over to his room and closed the door behind him.
Although his mother wasn't home, he still locked the door when he used the bathroom and what not, always paranoid that someone might walk in as he relieved himself or something. lucky for him, he had his own bathroom connected to his room, meaning he had double the safety as he had locked his bedroom door, as well. after flushing, he washed his hands and looked at himself in the mirror. he looked too... clean. he could pass as the most unsocial nerd who had ever walked the planet. he messed his hair up a little bit, his hands still wet from washing them. he didn't even know if afton was coming, but then again, there was no hurt in keeping his hopes up.
