Lexy, Lexy, Lexy. God I don't even know where to start with her. Basically she's my best friend. It hasn't always been that way though which might be considered odd since we act like we've been friends for years. We've always known each other, she didn't live that far away from my house, we were often in the same classes, I was on the basketball team she was a cheerleader. We'd talk some times but it was never anything big. Just small little conversations but then during our senior year everything changed. We started hanging out more and found out just how much we have in common. I still can't get over the fact that we took so long to create our friendship. I'm glad that we finally did because she's my go to girl now. If I ever have a problem she's the one that I go to for advice. Doesn't matter what the topic is she always makes me feel comfortable enough to talk about it. So basically I've known Matt ever since freshman year in high school, which is quite a while considering that was around five or six years ago. The story of how we met is kind of my fault and it was totally by accident. I accidentally bumped into him in the hallway and it was at lunch, so my food kind of went all over his shirt and that caused a cafeteria wide food fight. It was insane, but kind of fun at the same time. Obviously we both got punished for the incident and had to clean up the entire mess - not to mention we had two weeks worth of detention. I'm surprised he didn't hate me after that because he wasn't able to play in a few home basketball games. And that's pretty much when we started to hang out. Even up to this day he calls me a clutz and knows to stay a few feet away from me if I'm carrying some sort of food in my hands. Then about the beginning of sophomore year we started to go out. We did everything together. I went to all his basketball games, we went to school dances and he was my date for the senior prom. But right after graduation Matthew said it was best if we ended things. I don't remember his exact words but it was along the lines of us needing to see new people. I kind of understood why he said that because the chances of couples making it after high school wasn't very high. Since then I've gotten used to the fact that we weren't meant to be and I moved to Wells Beach to go to university. It turns out that Matt moved to Maine without knowing that I lived here. Basically things between us are kind of awkward and somehow we're still close friends. I don't know how our friendship is going to be, but I'm hoping it will go well. Although I hate to admit that our breakup was bound to happen, I still love him.

See it had been a normal day for me, I went through a bunch of boring classes but then lunch time finally arrived. Now some people might have been mad about that but I wasn't. I mean how could I be? During our time in detention I got to know her better. We'd talk a lot when the teachers were out of the room and I'll admit I always found her attractive. She'd come to my basketball games, we'd have movie nights, we'd go to dances although she basically had to drag me to those considering I'm not a big fan of dancing but still I went, even took her to prom. But then things went downhill. Graduation loomed closer and with each day I got more worried. Graduation meant that high school would be over, that college would start, that we'd have to go our separate ways. It scared me, relationships hardly ever made it when things were long distance. I was worried that she'd find someone else better than me so I broke it off. I explained that it was for the best if we tried seeing other people. In my mind if I broke up with her than it wouldn't hurt so much. Boy was I wrong. It's obvious that I'm not over her and it's weird now because she also moved to Wells Beach. Things aren't the same anymore but I'm hoping that we can at least keep a friendship going. Maybe someday I'll admit to her that what I did was a huge mistake, maybe someday I'll tell her that I still love her.

Ive only known Mattie boy for around a year and a couple months now but it really does fell like a lifetime and not in the bad way, i really wish the two of us had met sooner because hes the most amazing friend i could ever wish for.He is my confidant, my partner in crime, the person that tells me when im being too outrageous and my protector.Secretly he knows im better than him he just hasnt accepted it yet.I cant believe we only became best friends in senior year because although it kills me to say i wish we had been best friends for our whole lives.Matt is the brother i never got to have, if anybody ever threatens me or makes me feel unsafe hecomes along and cheers me up or kicks that persons ass, he always has my back and sticks by my side even when im wrong.People have often told us we would look cute together or that we should get together, there were those kind of rumors going round back in high school just because we spent so much time with each other but come on...he had a girlfriend.Anyway hes more like family, i wouldnt think of him in any other way.our friendship is gonna outlive time itself.♥

It hasn't always been that way though which might be considered odd since we act like we've been friends for years. We've always known each other, she didn't live that far away from my house, we were often in the same classes, I was on the basketball team she was a cheerleader. We'd talk some times but it was never anything big. Just small little conversations but then during our senior year everything changed. We started hanging out more and found out just how much we have in common. I still can't get over the fact that we took so long to create our friendship. I'm glad that we finally did because she's my go to girl now. If I ever have a problem she's the one that I go to for advice. Doesn't matter what the topic is she always makes me feel comfortable enough to talk about it. The way we act might make it seem like we like each other and I do like her, I love the girl but just not in that way. If anything she's more like family to me, I find that statement more suitable I mean after all she did move out to wells beach with me so that we could continue our friendship. Lexy is pretty much the sister that I never had and I hope that it always stays that way.
