"i'm in the process of adopting a little girl who i sort of saved from an abusive family setting. she was my little sister in the little sister/big brother program. i love her to death, and soon she'll be my daughter. i can't wait to spoil her and show her what a loving parent really is. she's moving out here in about a month after i've settled in and found a home for us."

"they ditched me when i was 14, assholes. so, i'll talk about my grandparents instead. they were amazing when they were alive and they took care of me during the hardest parts of my lives. they lived here in wells beach actually, and showed me how to be a really good person. my parents were crack addicted jerks who would take everything out on me any chance they had, but i grew above them."

"the first fishing trip with my grandpa was great. i didn't catch anything, but we really bonded as two guys. he was like my father after that. if my father was really old."
