L o v e d , to be content with w h o you are, we allWant the s a m e things, don't we? To find the o n e . "What do you mean, he's not there? He's probably hiding. Kids do that, they hide."
Aiden couldn't believe that he was being suspected of kidnapping... again. Well, okay, so maybe he'd found the kid once, swapped numbers with the mother for some god forsaken reason--besides the reason that she was definitely a MILF--and now he was getting his head bitten off because she thought that he was lying. Could he really blame her? No, he did tend to lie quite a bit. She shouldn't take it personal though, he lied to everyone. But not about having a kid with him. He had bonded with the little guy, Jack, though. They'd played some poker, eaten some lunch, and then his mother came looking for him like the owner of a lost dog. He didn't have a dog, but he could imagine that it was the same type of attachment. Well, sorta.
"Whatcha got, kid?" Aiden asked as his hazel eyes peered over his cards in his large paw-like hands and over at the little boy sitting across from him that had stolen his hat during one of their games. Well, more like won it. "Full house," he heard him say with a smile that had a missing tooth infront, before the little rugrat erupted into mad giggles when Aiden stared at him in disbelief. "Alright, kid, you win," he said as he tossed the cards aside, turning them over to reveal a bad hand. He wasn't sure what it was about the boy, but he was clever. He reminded him alot of himself. It was strange, yet comforting at the same time. It was nice to have someone else to share his huge house with, now that his uncle was gone and he was the only one left to look after it. He had maids, but they always left at the end of the day to go to their families. Everyone always left. The little guy had run circles around the place, making him bring out all kinds of board and video games that he hadn't played in ages.
Anyway, he could feel his cheeks getting warmer as his tone escalated. He didn't even notice the change, or that his attention on his surroundings was waning. Shadows played across the trunk of the car, but his rearview mirror wasn't well-adjusted at the moment.
"Check in your kitchen. Maybe he's hiding in your cabinets or something... fuck, I don't know, I'm not five years old."
It might sound strange, but he felt less alone out here in the middle of nowhere, parked in the parking lot of a gas station, than back in his uncle's empty house. He'd managed to catch a few winks, even if it was nearly impossible to fall asleep to the point of dreaming, because those quickly became nightmares. Even after all of these years, he still had night terrors, and living alone in a huge house didn't seem to be doing him any good. So he'd stuck with the one place he knew better than the back of his hand: his car. He had the money to rent a hotel--hell, he couldn't probably buy one with that inheritance--but he preferred going simple. And that was his big mistake, because some friends from his past were lurking about, and he was too distracted to notice.
"Pacey, look, I..."
Aiden stopped talking, his train of thought colliding into itself as his hazel eyes peered around. He was getting that feeling that he was being watched. That eerie sixth sense feeling that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end and his paranoia skyrocket. His breathing increased and the speed increase was pretty audible on the phone without his knowledge as his mouth hung open just enough to breathe out. He saw some movement behind the car and quickly moved to try to shove his keys into the ignition, succeeding with excellent aim and turning it, but the car was having trouble starting. A battered roar was emitted from his prized possession, quietly damning its perfect timing to fail. It had never failed him before tonight. No, there must be something larger at work here. Something way over his head. ( LYRICS ) forever can be - ashes divide ( TAG ) miss pacey darling aka bree-a-bean ( WORD COUNT ) i dunno w/o codes ftw ( NOTES ) ehh, first post, it's decent, lol.

pacey dinah aldredyou don't want to h u r t me, but see how d e e p the bullet lies. unaware that I'm t e a r i n g you asunder. there's a thunder in our h e a r t s, baby Pacey rushed through her seaside home as she looked under the furniture for her 5 year old son, Jack. Ever since that day that she found Jack with Aiden Sawyer, she's been holding it to him to help her find him if he ever disappeared on her. She was currently on her cellphone as she pressed her body down on the hardwood floors, looking under the bed in her son's room. He wasn't there, of course not. She tossed her head into the air as her hair flew up and she spun around, looking around as she tried to figure out where he would be. Jack had the tendency to just leave and that wasn't safe, not at all. Wells Beach was a small town, but that didn't mean it was any less dangerous. Every town had their bad people and she didn't want to risk her son getting caught up or kidnapped. Kidnapped, oh dear god.
"What do you mean, he's not there? He's probably hiding. Kids do that, they hide."
"But where?! There aren't very many places to hide in this house." Pacey uttered as she looked around the kitchen, before she began to open cabinet doors. She looked down under the sink, but there was still no sign of the little boy. Pacey was beginning to panic as she looked around, her hand sliding her hair behind her ears as she looked in the cabinets that were under the island counter. Still no Jack. She sighed, looking around as she walked out of the kitchen, her bare feet carrying her into the living, the third time she's been in this room since she noticed her son wasn't in front of her anymore.
"He's not in the fucking cabinets, oh god." Pacey said, her hand going to her forehead as she looked around, her green eyes darting from every inch of the living room, before she reached for the remote and turned the television off. She looked back to the door and sighed, her hand running down her face as she looked down at the floor as she tried to think of a place where he could be. She listened to Aiden's voice before he stopped talking. She let her gaze float upwards as she listened for a lingering moment.
"Aiden? Aiden are you okay?" She asked, that was when his heavy breathing alerted the brunette mother as she looked down the hall to see Jack walking out of the bathroom, rubbing his eyes and walking toward her. She shuddered as she fell to her knees and wrapped the boy up in her arms and holding the back of his blonde head. She then looked away, lifting Jack into her arms with one arm.
"Aiden!" Pacey called as she listened to the sound of a car roaring to life on the other end. What was going on, why did he stop talking to her? Her intuition was telling her something was horribly wrong and she needed to know what was going on. She walked down the hallway, holding Jack who was staring down at Pacey with a confused look on his sweet face. She knew that Aiden and Jack had befriended each other quite quickly and she just wanted to make sure that her helper was still okay.

L o v e d , to be content with w h o you are, we allWant the s a m e things, don't we? To find the o n e . Aiden could hear the desperate sense of panic in Pacey's voice as she looked around for her missing son. He didn't understand why Jack insisted on running away from her, but he might be biased since he lost his own mother at a pretty young age. He saw Pacey as a very strong maternal figure and she wasn't too easy on the eyes either. Truth be told, he was very attracted to her, but he didn't think that she would ever see him that way. They were just too different. It would take a miracle, or a tragedy, to bring them together. A mother and a playboy... yeah, that would be a pretty odd couple. But he didn't have much time to ponder on it, as he was trying to get the hell out of dodge at the moment as his paranoia escalated through the roof.
"Aiden? Aiden are you okay?"
Holding the phone to his shoulder with the side of his head, he muttered curses under his breath as he felt his heart pounding in his ears. Who knew he had one to begin with. He didn't answer her as he finally got the car to start, but his glory was short-lived as the sound of shattered glass rang out, something bashing in the window on the passenger's side. "Oh shit!" he managed to get out, though it was so rushed that he wasn't even sure what he said. The shards of glass rested on the seat as his hand went to shift the car into drive, but right as his hand reached the stick, the window on his side as shattered in too. If he didn't know any better, it had been done with a fist.
Aiden could hear her voice calling out his name, and under any other circumstance, he might even get fresh to her about it. But before he could utter a single word, he felt a cool blade pressing against his neck, right above his jugular. His hazel eyes widened as he sat up straight, not moving out of the fear of cutting himself. He barely turned his head to look at the assailant, his hair in his face making it all the more difficult, but he could make out that it was someone that he knew. That became clearer to him when he heard his voice. "Scream and I'll fucking kill you, Sawyer," he heard the muffled voice whispering harshly against his free ear, feeling pieces of glass on his lap and a trickle of blood making its way down his cheek from the impact. The guy obviously didn't know that he was still on the phone though.
Without thinking about it twice or saying a word, the director slammed his foot down on the pedal, feeling the blade going straight across his throat as he gagged loudly, his phone fell down to the passenger's seat as he sped out of the parking lot with a loud screech of his tires. He looked at his rearview mirror, seeing the frustrated actions of the man that he'd left behind unsatisfied. He brought one of his hands up to his neck, feeling the gash as he made choking noises, the blood beginning to seep through his fingers. "Oh, fuck me." He felt his vision blurring as he reached over to grab his phone, bringing it up to his ear, but tainting it with his crimson substance in the process.

pacey dinah aldredyou don't want to h u r t me, but see how d e e p the bullet lies. unaware that I'm t e a r i n g you asunder. there's a thunder in our h e a r t s, baby It was like Pacey's heart stopped when she heard the glass shattering on the other end of the phone. She felt her soul shirking as she looked down at Jack as he stared up at her with a confused look on his face. What could she say to the little man if something tragic were to happen to Aiden? She looked around the room as she slowly set Jack down as she tried to listen to what was going on. She felt Jack tugging on her leg, a small squeak leaving his lips as he asked her what was wrong, why was Aiden not talking.
"Aiden!" Pacey called again as she tried to understand what was being said in the car. She heard another smashing noise then the loud voice of a man telling Aiden not to scream. Pacey cried out and she cover mouth and looked around, stupidly as if there was something she could do from here, but she couldn't. She had no idea where he was, and who was doing this to him. The fear was bubbling up from within Pacey as she tried to think of something to say or to do.
However, before she could think of anything she heard a sickening gag and squealing tired as she held the phone to her ear. Oh god, he was dead! She thought in her mind as her body sunk to the floor slowly as a tear trickled down her face, why did she care so much? She barely knew the man, and from what she did know, he wasn't the nicest guy in the world. Pacey was a good person and she would never wish this on anyone, not ever. So the sadness sh was beginning to feel was expected. But what she didn't expect was the force of it. She felt horrible, like something had just been ripped out of her. Then, she heard another gagging noise and Pacey whimpered into the phone as she squeezed her eyes shut.
Pacey squeaked when she heard the sound of Aiden's voice on the other end, this time, forming words to her as he asked her for a favor. He sounded weak and Pacey knew tha she had to help this poor man. She slowly looked down at Jack before she bent down to his level slowly.
"Baby, go to your room and lock the door, I mean it. Mommy will come and get you when everything is okay. Please, listen to Mommy." With that, Jack scampered off and the sound of his bedroom door slamming let Pacey know that she had enough time to get Aiden in the house and get everything fixed up. Hospitals were a no go, too many questions, and she knew that Aiden would refuse to go to one. So the brunette woman ran to her bathroom and started to yank out anything that she could possibly use to help Aiden before she tossed it all into the living room, save for a bandage and a bottom of paroxide. Then the mother rushed out of the front door, just as the car pulled up.
"Oh my god." Pacey cried out as she yanked the passenger side door open and looked at all the blood that had accumulated all over Aiden's clothing and skin. Pacey winced as she looked at him carefully before she yanked his door open and straddled him quickly. Normally, she wouldn't have done something like this, she was blushing like an idiot, but she was focused on what she had to do to help him. She poured paroxide onto the bandage and without a hesitant move, she placed the bandage onto Aiden's wound and grunted, looking down at him carefully.
"Okay, we are gonna move and fast. I will fix it, I promise." Pacey said with a whimper before she moved herself out of the car and then gently but forcefully pulled Aiden out of his car. She reached in, turning the car off before pocketing the car keys. She then wrapped her arm around Aiden and started to move him into the house as fast as she could.

L o v e d , to be content with w h o you are, we allWant the s a m e things, don't we? To find the o n e . Aiden wasn't sure why he was seeking Pacey's help. Maybe it was because of the fact that he didn't have anyone else to turn to and she sort of owed him one for looking after her kid that one time. But even beyond that, he normally wasn't one to ask for help, regardless of the circumstances. But he knew that he was in deep with this one. He could feel the blood loss beginning to make his eyelids feel heavy with every moment that passed, but he feared that if he gave in, he would never wake back up. No, he had to stay awake. When their conversation was over, he placed the phone into the cupholder beside him--notably after a couple of tries, since his hand-eye coordination was pretty much shot--before pressing his foot down more firmly against the pedal. He clenched his teeth together as he cut infront of a slower moving vehicle, honestly surprised that anyone was out and about at this god forsaken hour.
It wasn't long before he was at her door. He'd been here before, since he'd driven them back home when Jack ranaway. But he was surprised that he remembered the address. Maybe somewhere in the back of his mind, he knew that he would be back here. He felt sticky from the blood as it caked his skin, but he still tried to look as charming as ever, forcing a lopsided smile as he watched her enter the car, claiming his lap. That was a bit unexpected, but he was in too much pain to enjoy it. "It's really not as bad as it looks," he tried to reassure her in a low voice in between heavy coughs, which didn't really help his case very much. His hazel eyes seemed slightly glazed over as he tried to focus on her flawless features, though the pain from bandage soaked in paroxide quickly pulled him back into reality and made him look away as his teeth found a firm grip on his lower lip in an attempt to keep from crying out.
Aiden's toned body was now void of his usual swagger as he sat there, slumped back into his seat and shaking slightly in vulnerability. His skin was turning pale and it was harder to stare at anything for a given amount of time, his eyelids beginning to droop over his eyes. He heard her speak as his hazel eyes watched her closely, the moonlight pouring in through the glass and illuminating her features, making him distracted from realizing what she had to do next. It wasn't until he was pulled outside into the darkness that realized what was going on and he tried to maintain his footing, but had to lean against her for support. The dagger must've gotten him pretty good. "Pacey," he muttered, but he stopped when they reached her door, reaching out with his large hand and pushing it open, before seeing himself in the living room. His breathing was starting to get uneven the closer they got to the couch.
Once his back connected with the soft material, he closed his eyes for a moment. He hated appearing weak, but it wasn't really an option right now. His hand moved up his chest to rest lightly over his wound, drifting in and out of consciousness as he licked his lips and tried to speak. "Pacey, I just... you... thank you," he managed to say, although the words were slurred and it was difficult to make out what he was trying to say. If you didn't see the condition that his neck was in, one might even guess that he was drunk. But he was completely sober and the pain was too much for him to handle. He stopped moving at all and just lay there, not feeling or hearing much of anything. It was like time just stopped and the limpness could lead anyone to believe that he had moved on and passed away. But he never felt so alive. ( LYRICS ) forever can be - ashes divide ( TAG ) miss pacey darling aka bree-a-bean ( WORD COUNT ) i dunno w/o codes ftw ( NOTES ) scaryness ftw, love it, lol.

pacey dinah aldredyou don't want to h u r t me, but see how d e e p the bullet lies. unaware that I'm t e a r i n g you asunder. there's a thunder in our h e a r t s, baby The situation that she was being thrust into at this point in time was enough to make anyone run screaming. A man was bleeding profusely from a neck wound that was obviously done from something sharp and knife-like. All Pacey could think about was the fact that she didn't want to see him die. He wasn't the biggest humanitarian in the world, in fact, Pacey knew that he was trouble, yet she didn't want to see the look on Jack's sweet face when she told him that his new friend wasn't around anymore. She could just see the child-like confusion of her words and she would have to start explaining to him that death was a part of life. She wasn't going to let that happen. Jack was going to stay as innocent as possible.
As the pair reached the front door, she heard Aiden say her name and she groaned, looking up at him as her eyes stared. He was vulnerable, he was in pain, and he needed her. She knew Aiden's type, the type of man to never admit that he needed help. Well, when you were bleeding to death, sometimes it just makes sense to ask for help. She held the bandage to his neck, not saying anything because she knew that no words could make all of this go away for him. So instead, she got him into the living room and onto the couch. She knew that she had to save this man, despite her constant frustrations with him. She knew that he could be a pest, but if he was good with Jack and didn't come off as a threat to her, what would be the point in being mean to him anymore. Then there was that nagging feeling in the pit of her stomach, the feeling that her feelings for Aiden were more than platonic toleration for Jack. No, they ran deeper than she had originally anticipated, and that was what was forcing this woman to move fast. She had to save him for her too.
She moved away from him to grab a sewing kit that her mother had given to her not too long ago. She used it often now, since Jack was getting to be more rowdy with his friends. She grabbed it before rushing into the living room as Aiden thanked her, well, at least thanked her to the best he could.
"Sh sh sh, okay, don't talk." She whispered to him as she placed a pillow down on the end of the couch before she pulled him down slowly onto it. She placed the pillow under his neck so it would be easier for her to get to and she smoothed Aiden's hair. The mother in her was coming through, the nurturer in her coming out to play as she pulled the bandage and was met with more blood. She shuddered, a tear trickling down her cheek as she rested her free hand on Aiden's forehead.
"Breathe shallow, Aiden. I don't need this squirting at me." She said, not really sure how else to word is as she thread the needle fast, and to her surprise. She then reached over and grabbed another bandage and placed it in Aiden's mouth. She winced as she let her face lower toward his as she smoothed his hair down again, trying to comfort him as best as she could.
"Bit down and try not to yell, I don't want Jack seeing this. I'm here, I'll go as fast as I can, and then I can get you a drink." She said, trying to gauge his reaction before she placed both hands on his neck and began to sew it back up as best as she could. His blood tainted her hands and she knew that this wasn't sanitary. She was supposed to be wearing gloves to protect herself, but she needed to worry about saving Aiden not if he had diseases, which she had a good feeling he didn't have. She watched as the needles sliced through is skin as it started to pull the skin tight and back together. She knew that this had to be painful for him so she tried to move quickly, but still did her best work.

Aiden Ross SawyerMust've been very h a r d to have l i v e d and never
L o v e d , to be content with w h o you are, we allWant the s a m e things, don't we? To find the o n e . Aiden didn't mean to put Pacey on the spot like this. He didn't wake up this morning thinking, let me go get my throat slashed so that I can have an excuse to see that brunette again. He didn't really need an excuse to see people. It just happened. But he knew that it must be difficult for her, sheltering a complete stranger like this, but maybe on another level, he felt like he knew her. It was hard to explain. So, maybe he didn't deserve her help. He wasn't the greatest guy in the world, not with the adult film directing and the openly promiscuous behavior, but there was another side to him. He wasn't two dimensional. Life wasn't that simple. And maybe he was using Jack as a leverage, but only to a certain extent. If he hadn't spent some time with her son, would she have ever given him a second glance? People misjudged him all the time, he was used to it by now. But for some reason, he expected this time to be different.
He was getting used to the silence between them as they entered the place. He wouldn't admit it, but her voice was starting to have an effect on him. So maybe it was better not to hear it. Best not to fill his head with dellusions, right? She was probably only trying to help him because of Jack. To think otherwise would be foolish. He'd never seen any signs or indications, and for all he knew, she was seeing someone. It was surprising that he hadn't made a move on her yet. Even before he was down like this, he hadn't really made an effort to get into her pants. It was rather out of character, even if she did have a son. That hadn't stopped him before. But now wasn't really the time to question it, so he pushed it out of his mind, not wanting to complicate himself anymore than the mess he'd already gotten himself into.
His hazel eyes were quick to notice her absence in the room. It had a very homey vibe, this whole place, and it was different to him. He rarely spent much time at his uncle's house. It was too empty for his liking, especially for an attention whore such as himself. So being here, where he was being looked after, well, it was different in a good way. Not quite like a hospital, with all those strange smells and itchy excuse for clothing. He hated hospitals, for more reasons than one. It brought back too many memories.
When she spoke, trying to reassure him, Aiden felt his lips curling into an involuntary smile. She was sweet. He watched her make the couch more comfortable, before feeling the cushion underneath his neck. He felt her fingers sifting through his hair and it took everything he had not to close his eyes at the contact. It was easier to do though when she pulled the bandage off, taking in a deep breath as she inspected his wound. He nodded slowly at her remark, trying to hold his breath as if he were underwater. He was thrown out of the loop though when he felt something dry entering his mouth. Okay, that was not supposed to be there. He made a face at it, before doing as he was told and begrudgingly biting down on the dull tasting object. He looked up slowly to be met her with face again, closer now, her hand doing that soothing motion again as she spoke.
But the only place he could stare at was her lips, watching as they parted and moved, everything else melting away.
Aiden blinked when she placed her hands on his neck, not hearing half of what she'd said. His heart was beating in his ears and he was feeling so light, almost as if she pushed him too hard, then he would float away. Not even the best drugs left you like this, in a blend of pain and blissful ignorance. He felt the needle enter his skin and he tensed up, tossing his head back slightly when she pulled back, the veins along his neck making a brief appearance as he grunted quietly, his screams never leaving his mind. He would honor her request, it was the least he could do. He felt her working on him again and he closed his eyes, trying to get his body to relax, but it jerked involuntarily whenever she pulled on the thread to keep things together. pacey dinah aldredyou don't want to h u r t me, but see how d e e p the bullet lies. unaware that I'm t e a r i n g you asunder. there's a thunder in our h e a r t s, baby Pacey had never been in a situation like this, where a grown man was in her home, bleeding all over the place. Her younger brother had been a fisherman and he had often come in here with a cut or something from the lines, but never this severe. The wound was intimidating for the brunette but she knew that she could just get him fixed up, that things would be okay, that they would work out. Blood wasn't something that settled well with Pacey, seeing as how it was supposed to be on the inside of someone's body, not leaving it. So this bleeding business that Aiden was doing, it wasn't really sitting well with her. But she sucked it up as she looked at the wound that was presented to her. She watched as Aiden reacted to the bandage in his mouth, but she knew that he would understand in a moment's time. She really couldn't risk him crying out loudly in the house. She knew that Jack would get concerned and come out of his room. She didn't need a five year old seeing something like this, it just wouldn't go over well. So she began to sew the wound and she watched as Aiden's blood covered her fingers as she continued slowly, trying not to rush herself. She knew that if she rushed the process, she would definitely make a mistake.
She listened to the sound of Aiden's grunts as she pulled the thread through his flesh. She reached over, resting her hand in his hair as she stroked it gently. She knew that this had to be extremely painful for the man, it couldn't feel good in the slightest. She did her best to calm him gently before she continued to pull the needle and thread through. She was halfway finished when she looked back to Aiden, his blood running down her wrist a bit. He was definitely going to be very woozy after all of this. She licked her lips as she continued, trying to be swift but precise all at the same time. She knew that rushing could potentially rip the stitches she was making and it would just cause more of a mess. She suddenly began to hum gently as she moved her body closer as she took Aiden's hand and placed it on her hip.
"Squeeze." She said, looking back to the wound as she continued to sew it shut. She knew that the bandage was keeping him from screaming, but it couldn't be helping him with the stress. She knew that he could potentially bruise her, but it was better than him jerking around. He needed to lie perfectly still for this to work properly and she wanted to do a good job. Thankfully, she was nearing the end of the wound and she reached for a bandage that she could place over the wound. Her eyes moved to Aiden for a moment before she turned back to her work and then she grabbed the pair of scissors out of the kit. She snipped the threads before she looked back down at him and smiled gently. She placed the bandage over the wound and taped it down securely with medical tape. She then reached over and pulled the wade of spit covered bandage out of his mouth and tossed it away from them. She then looked down at him gently, her hand moving to stroke his hair.
"Are you okay?" She asked smoothly, her fingers slipping through his hair slowly. She was being very touchy with him, she realized in that moment, but she was sure he needed the gentleness. She knew that she would if something this traumatic happened to her. Her green eyes scanned his face gently as she sniffled and offered a soft gaze.
"You can bunk down here tonight. Rest a bit."

To find the o n e . Aiden has always been so well-looked after that this was new to him. Even when he dealt drugs, he never really messed with them himself, not wanting to be left with track marks all over his flawless skin. Now here he was, bleeding all over, and his neck was a mess. He knew that even if it healed, his skin would never really fall the same way. It might even grow to become sensitive there, years after his skin merged into one. While some people might start worrying about looking ugly or being self-conscious, Aiden had gotten into his share of bar brawls and even when he came out on the victorious side, he still had his battle scars to wear. So that's how he would treat this, as a battle scar. He would wear it with pride, instead of resenting it. Nothing good came of denial. His hazel eyes glanced straight up at the very image of denial, Pacey Aldred. He wasn't falling for her.
No, he was pretty sure of that. He just found her very attractive... yes, that was it. And he was probably in pain and hallucinating. She wasn't looking at him or treating him any differently for this. When you thought you were on the verge of dying, everything seemed amplified. Not that he thought he was dying or anything, even if it did feel like it. The blood loss was beginning to get to his head, making him feel dizzy as he tried to focus his eyes somewhere. Instead of a particular image, he focused on the sensation of Pacey's hand in his hair again. It seemed that it always found its place there. He clenched his teeth down on the bandage whenever he felt the urge to scream, muffling his voice as he tried to say something, but stopped trying when he heard her humming.
It was soothing somehow and it instantly seemed to relax him all over, from his head to his toes, which was a pretty long journey for a young man of his tall stature.
Aiden was a bit caught off guard when he felt his large hand being moved to her hip. Her curves were amazing and he couldn't help but feel them underneath his fingertips, though he didn't move a muscle. He looked up at her doubtfully, before looking back over at her hip. His mind was flooded with all kinds of thoughts, none of them innocent unlike the other inhabitant of the house. He found his eyes trailing up her side, along her body up passed her neck and up to her face. Could he do it? Could he take it out on her? No, he couldn't. His free hand resting on his abdomen squeezed into a tight fist instead, while the thumb of his other hand stroked her skin lightly over her clothing, before falling back to his side. Even when in pain, he could never bring himself to hurt a woman.
Watching her as she finished her work, he found his lips curling into a gentle smile that was full of warmth. When the bandage was out of his mouth, he licks his lips profusely, his throat suddenly as dry as ever, but he wouldn't ask for water just yet. He knew that the questions were coming. "Yeah, I'm fine. It feels like you did a good job... have you done this before?" His pearly whites exposed themselves to her as he shook his brown hair out of his eyes to get a better look at her. Nope, it hadn't changed, she was still beautiful. Well, he was pretty much doomed. He noticed her sniffle and quirked a brow curiously, before hearing her words. "Oh, thanks, but... I wouldn't want to intrude. Besides, it would be hard to explain this to the little guy, so..." He moved forward to sit up, his body sending out alarms as a burning sensation came from his wound as the bandage rubbed it the wrong way, making him wince. "I'll see myself out," he ended, but his body was tense in all the wrong places.
