( you don't know my name ) this town was a new town, maine wasnt like how it was back at home. crowded and populated. however, it sure was beautiful. the people didn't seem to care to much about necessities, it seemed sort of peaceful out here. she never really gave a care that the world had more places than new york and london, and paris. this was a big reality check. she wasn't use to it. she was a very materialistic person.she sort of liked the fact that maine was different, she could say that she had her own 'style', her parents moved here for strictly business. so it was only right that she started college out here, she didn't like being away from her parents to much. well, her mom. her dad was disgusting, he didnt know what it was like to love someone fully. cassia knew her father wasnt faithful to her mom. she just didnt have the guts to say anything, did she really want her family to break apart? still, her mom deserved to know. however, that was not her place, right?
she sighed, finishing up her hair. she applied her make up. she needed to get out of the house. her parents insisted on her doing so. they wanted her to make new friends, and not worry so much. people didn't know this about her but she use to not fit in, so badly, that she use to cutt, and blame her looks and all. deep down she was unaware of how pretty she really was. she wasnt like that now - all sad, and depressing like. cassia was happy, sweet, so kind and polite, - well thats what some people came off to believe. cassia loved being in control of things. she loved having peoples emotions wrapped around her pretty fingers. she was pretty sneaky and she got all the information she could t ruin some one elses life, especially if she didnt like that person. she felt achieved whens he did things like that. the thing was those people did not even know it was her dong those things, screwing around with their emotions. she absolutely loved it. things where always given to her growing up, but not attention. she craved attention, she lived on attention, and pretty soon thats what she always got - attention, grabbing her keys to her car, she walked outof the mansion. once she was in her cars he pressed the button so the gates would open, backing up, she then reversed and drove off. she was heading to the library.
she parked her car once she was there and took a step out of it. she closed the car door, grabbing her bag as well. she locked her door, and so on. she made her way into the huge library. she was pretty book smart, so she did visit places like these alot. even if it where late, when no one was around to see you. back in new york studying wasnt the coolest thing to do on a Saturday night. she sighed, she wasnt here to study though. if she was going to meet some people, why not meet the smart people first. she personally called the library a 'nerd department' everyone needed a friend from there,a friend to help them study and so on. she grabbed a few books and made her way down the aisle. not watching where she was going she turned and bumped into some one, making it so all their books fell out of their hands and so did hers. she kneeled down to get her books and help the other person get theres. " i'm so sorry, i didn't know,-i'm - i'm new here. " she said, hopefully that would make up for a reason of why she was so clumsy and carefree when it came to the library.. Ringo Allistar WallaceWhen I s e e you, I run outta w o r d s to say,
I wouldn't l e a v e you, cuz you're that t y p e of girlTo make me s t a y , I see the guys t r y n a holla. Ringo looked up at the sound of a door slamming upstairs, before he sighed and slumped back into the couch. It wasn't really his choice to move up here, and although he didn't regret it, sometimes he felt overwhelmed by the fact that he was the only male in the house. He loved his family to pieces, but sometimes it was nice to have someone else to talk to. Grabbing his keys off of the coffee table, he left his little sister, Jude, a note, before heading outside. Night had fallen and his bright blue eyes appreciated the lack of intense sunlight. Sometimes it sucked having light-colored eyes, because the sun would really mess with them. Getting into his car and strapping himself in, he fixed his rearview mirror and ran a hand through his messy black hair, before backing up and out of the driveway. He didn't really know where he was going, he figured that he'd pick something on the way there. He hummed along to Heartless by Kanye West on the radio and then bit the corner of his lip as he spotted the Library after the next light.
Reaching behind his seat when the red light was on, he grabbed a hold of a book that Jude had asked him to get her for one of her classes like two weeks ago. He rested it on the steering wheel and checked the due date, his blue eyes widening considerably. Okay, okay, maybe alot longer than that. He sighed as he flicked on his turn signal, though he wouldn't really mind spending some time at the Library. It had been a while since he was here just to read or socialize. Usually he rushed in and out with his sister for some kind of project or something for his own classes. He wasn't a bookworm though, but he liked to read. It was nice to escape every once in a while.
Ringo entered the Library and hesitated, but eventually made his way up to the front counter. After a small conversation where the Librarian recognized him because of his family's wealth, thankfully not just for the scandal, she didn't hold the late book against him. Some people nearby seethed at the special attention that he received, but he didn't say a word. He just made his way into one of the aisles, not really looking at what section he was in. Sometimes it was fun to pick a random book off of the shelves and wonder if fate wanted him to read it. But before he ever got his hands on a second, someone came out of nowhere and left him like a deer in headlights, his books flying with the stranger's on to the floor. It was almost graceful. He quickly leaned down to picked them up, noticing the other person do the same, before he looked up at a soft, female voice. Instantly, he was captivated.
"Oh, no, don't be sorry. I was pretty distracted myself," he said with a bright smile, though he couldn't help but be taken by her appearance. He blinked for a moment, looking down to break the gaze, before carefully handing her back her fallen books, while he took his own from her. "You're new here, you said? Neat, where are you from?" He could guess a pretty accurate answer, but he didn't want to be wrong and he wanted to hear her voice again. It was nice. He wondered if she did public speaking or something where she had people's attentions, because she certainly had his and she hadn't said or done much of anything. ( you don't know my name ) cassia wasn't clumsy all the time, but she did happen to get very distracted at time to time. she didn't really look at the books she picked up, she just grabbed them. she wanted it to seem like she was very smart, and just knew about a lot of books. she sort of did, not the type of books she picked out though. she was more of a novel girl, stories about girls that had similar issues to her. she didn't like a book if you couldn't open it up, and not find interest in the first page. books where suppose to interest you from the start, the first word, the first sentence. she was so impassioned with a lot of things. including books, and writing things like poetry. she didn't want to be that honestly. she didn't want to be a poet. however, she did want to write. not for usual newspapers and such. but for great and bold fashion magazine. she had a powerful opinion and all she wanted to do with it was get it down on paper so everyone could know. she loved clothes, clothes could tell so much about a person. she usually wore the color that best expressed the mood for her day. lately, she had, however, loved to wear the color red. it was one of the colors that she thought could look actually decent on her. she didn't think to brightly of herself honestly, so when she saw something that looked good on her, of course she was going to fall in love with it! to bad, she didn't know, she looked good in almost anything.
growing up in new york brought loads of pressure on her.the girls where thin, she went to private schools, thats not only competing academical, but when it came to the looks as well.however, most of the girls there had cheat their way into that school. that school didn't only accept rich people, but you had to be rich & smart. only a few rare girls got in on scholarship and those girls where made fun of. plus, no one wore the same thing twice out there, unless it was the school uniform of course. if you had did that you would be the new laugh of the century. the girls there didn't really know how to let things go. she didn't fit in at all there, and she wanted to so badly.. it changed who she was. she lost a lot of her close friends and such, only to gain fake ones and be a 'servant' to them. everything they asked for she did. she felt like she was climbing up the social ladder, although she was only staying where she where in the first place. she knew she'd miss that place, she was blind to reality of what she became. she didn't have any guilt whatsoever. she didn't know those girls where only using her, honestly, she never really even had a best friend. she was either to 'weird' or 'just a sidekick'.
she was walking down an aisle not paying attention, only because in new york you wouldn't have to worry about bumping into anyone because it was so 'uncool' to spend your saturdays In a library and all. most of the girls got their books and hurried out.she was now picking up her books and looked at the guy in front of her. a small smile lit up her face. the guy was - well, he was a beautiful guy. they didn't have guys like him in new york. they pretty much all looked the same if you asked her, he however looks wayyyyy different. the best part about him was his eyes, the ones she couldn't really look out of all of a sudden. she smiled when he brought up the fact she was new here. " yeah, i am- i'm from new york " she said with a small smile. " in new york, well, you wouldn't have to worry about who was walking down an aisle, because no one hardly did. " she said with a small laugh.
" my family moved out here, and it was about that time for me to go to college, so applied out here and well - wallah " she said with a small smirk. once she had all 3 of her heavy books in her hand she stood up. " so, what're you reading? " she asked, even though she shouldn't. he'd probably ask her the same and she'd have to tell him she was reading a book about 'pregnancy' 'mental disorders' and 'turn ons for guys'. hey! she didn't know though! she just grabbed them off some shelves. however, this turn ons for guys books was pretty big, she might look into it later, when he wont be around of course. Ringo Allistar WallaceWhen I s e e you, I run outta w o r d s to say,
I wouldn't l e a v e you, cuz you're that t y p e of girlTo make me s t a y , I see the guys t r y n a holla. Ringo was usually so wrapped up in either photography or being a big brother that he didn't have much time to build a social life. In fact, he tended to avoid people that seemed way too interested in being his friend, because he knew that it was only to get in on the gossip. Sometimes he wished that they were normal. Life would probably get boring if they weren't always the talk of the century, but sometimes it was good to know that when you made a friend or any other connection with someone else, that it was real. It would also be alot safer. When you were constantly being watched by people, it was only a matter of time before someone snapped on either side. It was nerve-racking to think that his little sister would be dating soon, if she wasn't already. He couldn't even begin to imagine what he would be feeling when she didn't come home before curfew. But she was almost of age now, so he wouldn't be able to verbalize his worry much longer. Still, he was pretty sure that he would always worry.
When he did have time to read, he liked to read something about psychology. It was such a broad, but powerful subject that it was hard for him to stop reading after the first few pages. He also liked crime thrillers and the occasional comic book here and there. He was still a guy, after all. He didn't have to do heavy reading all the time to be entertained. Sometimes less was better. When you didn't find him behind a large psychology book, then he was usually in his dark room. It was his favorite room of the house, and truth be told, he would sleep in there if he could. The smell of the developing chemicals wasn't that pleasant after a while though. He also liked to play basketball, in order to keep himself fit and keep up his good reflexes. Not that it helped him at all now, since he'd just dropped his book and crashed into this poor, defenseless young woman. Immediately, he threw the guilt back at himself. He suddenly felt a bit dressed down, just wearing a black pair of jeans, a black and white striped shirt, and a gray u-neck long-sleeved sweater.
Maybe his bright smile and bright blue eyes would make up for it though.
Ringo watched her as her features lit up, a smile replacing her surprised features and he knew that he wanted to get to know this girl. When someone could smile like that, it was impossible not to get to know them. At least, he thought so. She was beautiful, from the way that her hair fell over her shoulders to that little twinkle in her dark eyes, but he wasn't thinking like most guys would think. He didn't want to throw her into bed and have his way with her. He was very much Romeo-like when it came to his thoughts about women. He imagined romancing them, like any hopeless romantic would, but he wasn't a slimeball. He knew that there was alot more to women than just sex. "Oh, well, I love your accent. It's original, at least, around here it is," Ringo complimented her, before laughing at her remark about libraries and saturday nights. "Ahh, well, in a small town like this, the library is a hot spot. Truthfully, I haven't been here in a while. But it's a nice place to collect your thoughts and read a little something or other."
Ringo nodded as she told him about moving here, glad that she was in college and not underage. Things could get messy if she was. "Sounds nice. What are you studying? I'm into photography and I'm actually taking a few classes at the local college myself. So if you ever need a tour guide around campus, let me know," he offered, trying to find a subtle excuse to see her again. It didn't come off strong though, he was simply offering his company. He noticed that she was carrying some pretty massive books, which impressed him, but by a quick glance at the spine of the books and their subjects, he wasn't sure he'd want to ask why she had picked them. "Oh, this little thing?" he said with a small laugh, since it was a pretty big book and he wasn't really sure what it was about. "I'll tell you in a second." He flipped it over to the front cover and his bright blue eyes scanned over the main title, before quirking a brow at the odd picture. "Making Candy Apples For Dummies," he finally answered with a laugh, shrugging his shoulders casually. "I just picked up something random and I guess my subconscious was hungry? Heh, I dunno."
Instead of putting her on the spot about her interesting book selections, Ringo smiled as he tucked his book under his arm. Maybe he would read it after all. It was never too late to learn something new, especially when it came to food. "So, do you like it out here? I mean, it quite different, I can imagine. I'm from L.A. myself, so I understand that it's a pretty big change to go from a big city to... well, a little fishing town. The beaches are really nice though. And the atmosphere is different. I think it's kinda of liberating from the crowdedness of a big city." He then paused, not wanting to start rambling, but he hoped that would start their conversation.
It might give her something to think about and he could get her views on it, therefore getting to know her better, hopefully. ( LYRICS ) beautiful (feat. colby & kardinal) - akon ( TAG ) cassia to the keara =] ( WORD COUNT ) 953 w/o codes ftw ( NOTES ) lol, and so it begins!

( you don't know my name )
she smiled when he had complimented on the way her accent was. she never really knew she had an accent, but then again, all new yorkers did, honestly. they had that pitch of perkiness in their voice. that didnt mean they all spoke similarly. her voice was soft, and sweet, original. flattered by what she took as a compliment she said, " really? wow. i never have been told that before, thanks. " she said with a small smile. she didnt like smiling to hugely, she had a big perky smile and it was just to much at times, well she though. some other people thought it was cute. " hey, i actually am digging the accents out here myself, to me their original than my new yorker speak " honestly the libraries around new york where very completely filled up. especially on saturday nights, every saturday there was a party, if you didnt make it then you where uncool for the rest of the weeks. she wasn't much of a party girl but she certainly did try to be one. hey, though. an A for effort? " the hot spot? really. " she giggled, " please, in new york if you treat the library as an 'hot spot' thats exactly what you weren't - hot.. " she said with a small laugh, she was beginning to like things already. she didnt mind the library so that was a automatic positive. " your absolutely right, or now, i can just walk into my backyard, and then out the back gate - i live on the ocean side, its actually pretty cool. in new york we don't get to see to many oceans, or calm scenes like that. " she said with a nod. gripping onto her books tightly, and she brushed her thumb against their edges.
she smield when he said he majored in photography. that was good,. he was a college boy. not to young, and not to old it would appear by his looks. cassia knew she looked hella young. " photography, wow thats neat. i love taking pictures, but i never really have learned to work a camera right. " she admitted. " i major in two things, fashion and journalism, i wanna write for fashion magazines pretty soon - i think its what i was called to do, no matter how lame that may sound. " she said with a small laugh. her face lit up when he offered to be her tour guide. she definitely did need one of those! the local college was pretty big to her, " yeah, i most definitely need one, the campus is pretty big - but its pretty so it makes up for it. " she smirked. she laughed lightly as she observed him eying the titles of her books, she moved her arms so that they covered them. yikes! he probably thought she was some pregnant crazy freak who was lonely and needed some tips. she laughed when he told her what he had picked out, nice. looks like she wasnt the only one that walked into a library and randomly picked out books! yippie! " nice to know i'm not the only one that goes random book picking " she laughed, " according to my subconscious i'm a pregnant -. " she said showing him the book titles that shhe had picked out " ,menatlly unstable girl, that well- apparently needs dating tips. " she laughed. " oh yeah, i'm never doing that again. " she smiled. she wasn't shy at all, obviously. she was very social and good and making conversation.
hungry? nice, she was to. and her brain was sneaky, she'd add in something to let him know she was interested. " yeah. " she said with a smile " i'm starting to " she said, trying not to make it obvious she was flirting, but damn ! look at the guy! he was beautiful!" L.A, really? thats awesome. how is it out there? yeah i know what you mean, but i think - i think i'll get use to it. " she said.she couldnt help but bring back up what he had previously said.she wanted to know if he where interested in spending more time with her, although they had barely met, she still wanted to get to know him. " you said you where hungry? ...well, maybe i can accompany you to dinner or something, you know - to ease your hunger and all. " she smiled. she was pretty determined, she was not afraid to ask for what she wanted.
but wait! they didnt even know eachothers name yet! she smiled when she thought about it. how crazy was that to get into conversation with someone's who name you didn't even know. still, if he asked for hers she'd tell him. but she would tease him into finding out. " ...don't you wanna know my name? " she asked, a small smile lighting up her face

Ringo Allistar WallaceWhen I s e e you, I run outta w o r d s to say,
I wouldn't l e a v e you, cuz you're that t y p e of girlTo make me s t a y , I see the guys t r y n a holla. Ringo smiled as she spoke again, claiming that she had never heard that compliment from anyone. He found it a bit surprising, but then again, no one around here ever complimented him for having an accent. He wasn't even sure if he had one, though he was sure that everyone spoke differently depending on where you were from. "No problem. It's true," he said with a small chuckle, one which died down the moment he saw her smile again. It was pretty brilliant, even if it was a small one. He wondered how much her big smiles would affect him. Would they leave him dazzled? He hoped that he wasn't left too speechless. When she remarked on their accents, he quirked a brow slightly. "Our accents? We actually have one, seriously? What do we sound like?" he asked with a small laugh this time around.
When she continued, he nodded slowly with a casual shrug of his shoulders, his thumbs hooked on the loopholes of his black jeans as his book rested on the bookshelf beside him. "Yeah, well, maybe not a hotspot. The Hook probably takes that title. But I doubt anyone will say anything negative for seeing you here. And if they do, then they were here in the first place. So ha!" He was actually starting to feel more comfortable here, after hearing what she had to say about New York. When people placed too much emphasis on their social lives, they tended to lose control and lose themselves in the process. He knew from experience, seeing alot of his friends go down that path. He had a few child stars as friends when he was younger, because of his mother's career. But they always ended up messed up and corrupted. That was why he promised himself that he wouldn't go into acting, even if he would probably be good on a comedy sitcom or something.
"Yeah, it's nice to live by the ocean," Ringo said with a nod as she continued. "Hmm, so, what did you do for fun back in New York?" He was curious, since he'd never been there before. It was probably alot like L.A., but he'd left that scene a while back, so it had probably changed quite a bit. When she commented on photography, he tilted his head slightly to the side with amusement. "That's cool. I mean, maybe it's the type of camera that you're using. Canon Rebels are my favorite. They're pretty user friendly, even if developing film is pretty timely. But that goes for all cameras. I have a dark room at home, actually. You ever walk into one of those? The red light is pretty wicked. It's like... the Twilight Zone." He listened as she told him her interests, and although he didn't particularly care for them together, he liked journalism. "Oh, no, no. It doesn't sound lame at all. I think everyone should have a passion for something. If that's what you want to do, go for it."
He was really enjoying his conversation with her. She was friendly, sweet, and ambitious. Three things that he sought for both friends and other things. Things that he wasn't sure he wanted to jump right into thinking about, but it was inevitable. She was the first girl that had caught his attention in this way in a long time. "Well, whenever you'd like for me to show you around... actually, would you like my number? You can call me whenever it's convenient for you. Or if you're on campus and you get lost, I'll be there," he offered with a smile, his bright blue eyes gazing at her expectantly. He didn't ask for her number, he'd just given her his, so that she could make the first move if she wanted to. When she covered up her books and spoke about her book selections, he couldn't help but laugh, his pearly whites exposing themselves to her for a moment.
"Ahh, well, our subconscious is pretty erratic tonight," Ringo said with an amused expression. "I didn't know someone else did that too. But yeah, I might hold off on it and stick with the candy apples. Who knows what I'll get the next time," he added with a omg look on his face. It was pretty comical. When she asked about his hometown, he nodded his head. "Los Angeles is pretty... crazy," he replied, stretching the last word out with a small laugh. This girl was really making him feel good tonight, laughing and smiling as if it was a New Year's party or something. Wow, Jude was gonna tease him endlessly for this, if she ever found out. "I mean, it's so active. You can barely catch your breath. Out here you can actually think in your own head, if you know what I mean. Go to the beach and catch some waves. College is still fast-paced, but not as bad. I guess it's all how you take it."
Ringo was surprised that she had asked to eat with him. Girls usually made small talk with him and then left, never to be seen by him again. They didn't ask him out to dinner. She didn't even seem to know who he was, or rather, who his mother was, so that was definately a plus. He wasn't sure how she would react to knowing that his mother had cheated on his father with another woman, much less publicly. Not that he was embarrassed of his mother's sexuality, he just didn't like the fact that she had cheated. It stung him a bit. He took the divorce pretty hard, maybe a bit harder than Jude, because he was older. He'd seen them together for longer. They seemed happy before. Now they couldn't even stand being in the same room. He hadn't seen his father in a while, not since last summer when he went to visit him in L.A. Sometimes he missed having a father figure around, but he knew that Jude and his mother needed him around more that his baby sister. She had dad, so she would be okay.
"Sounds like a plan," he agreed finally with a nod of his head, probably leaving her guessing there for a minute when he didn't reply right away. He wasn't good with shameless flirting, and even the lighter one took him a little while longer to ease into, but he felt like he could let his guard down around this girl... what was her name again? And then she spoke, as if reading his mind, and he brought his hand up to his face in a playful facepalm. "Yes, of course, silly me. Rambling like an idiot and I don't even know your name. I'm Ringo. Weird, I know. My parents were big Beatles' fans, so yeah," he said with a small shrug of his shoulders, before waiting to hear her name. He wondered how normal hers was. It didn't really matter though, he was sure it was beautiful. A pretty girl like her didn't deserve anything less. she smiled. he seemed a bit surprised that she mentioned that they did have an accent, of somewhat. but then again, everyone did. no group of people ALL spoke alike, it just wasn't true. not at all. she nodded and said, " of course, everyone does. i think of the accent out here is nice and calm, and such. in new york everyone is stressed or ultra excited or just.. i dunno, pissed. " she laughed lightly. she really did enjoy talking to this guy, the guy who's name she didnt even know. he was making her feel nice and comfortable. she wasn't shy at all, so jumping into conversation with random people wasn't new for her..... but actually enjoying it was. she smirked when he told her about a place called the hook she then said, " hmm, sounds like a cool place. a club, i'm assuming? " she said, clubs usually had names similar to that. plain, but not too plain att he same time. she did go to a lot of clubs in new york but she hardly ever enjoyed them. its just that if you didnt show up t a certain party, then you weren't exactly cool. she laughed at his little joke, he was adorable. she couldn't stop staring at his adorable face. she didnt focus to much on the body. if the guy had body but no face, then what the hell was a girl to do. stare at his abdominal s all day. she was a strong believer in eye contact. she believed that when two people where talking, the conversation had no meaning if one couldnt stare the other in the eyes. that was the thing with her, whens he was younger and her mom was disappointed in her, her om would never look her in her eyes and she'd feel so guilty and upset. even though she may have been grounded, that situation felt like punishment itself. it sucked.
cassia didnt know about ringo being famous, or his mom being a famous hollywood star. she knew of the scandal his mom was in, plus she heard of one of her kids having an exotic name. how could she not know about the scandal? it took over E! news and MTV news and everything she watched for like a week or so. everyone in the industry had an opinion on it. when she saw that all she could remember thinking was oh my god, what a bitch and that was it. " it really is..it's different " she said. a small smile appeared on her face when he asked what she did for fun in new york. " oh a little bit of everything..you know skate, clubs, volunteer, parties, shopping, ..all the good stuff. but never beaches, something new to do out here i see. " she said, one thing she forgot to add in on her list of fun things to do in new york was.. spread rumors, ruin relationships, ruin peoples lives you know? the good stuff? she smiled, staying quiet as she took in what he was saying about the cameras and such. Canon Rebels? she's heard of such, but never saw them in her real life actually. she usually just got the cameras that looked super cute and pink and where digitally cool and all that materialistic suck. but the thing was, although it may have looked cute,..the lighting sucked. she giggled when he mentioned his dark room looking like the twilight zone. " that sounds so cool! your good..you got me thinking of a dark room for myself.. " she joked, she wasnt too good with the cameras. she was in no need of a dark room whatsoever.
" it doesn't? honestly? " she said with a smile. that was nice, people always thought writing was lame. but she loved it, she never complained about it. she could write all day. she had a strong opinion, and it had to be heard. or read, by someone, anyone who was willing to read her thoughts. " it is definitely a passion of mine...thanks. " she said the same smile on her face as the one that had previously returned when they started talking about cameras. was this really happening? a guy, as cute as he was? was not only offering to show her around campus, but his number as well. this was a yes yes situation. she couldn't pass this up. look at her, 4th day here and she was on a roll, seriously. " sounds good..heres my phone, just put your number in and save it " she said taking out her sidekick and handing it to him. she smiled, hoping he wouldn't laugh at the sparkly red and pink decorations. " yes, i know. my sidekick is pimped out, isn't it? " she smirked. " Thanks again, for being so friendly. there's not to many people like you in new york " she said, and she was being completely honest. there wasnt to many people that where so nice like he was being.
taking her cellphone back she put it back in her bag and they had got in the subconscious talk. he was funny, she felt like no time was passing when hew as around. she wasnt thinking about her problems a home, or anything at all. everything just felt in place for a second. " me neither. " she laughed. then he started to tell her about l.a. she was definitely interested. she knew los angeles was crazy, even if she hadnt been there herself, she had heard a lot about it. " it sounds amazing out there.. " she smiled.this was the moment, she had asked him if he would like to go eat dinner with her. he was quiet for a few minutes, seconds..or hours. she didnt know what they where. she stepped back into reality. she didnt even know the guys name, age, or last name. she didnt know to much about the guy besides that he went random book picking like she did. her heart started ot beat a little faster. she was nervous, did she just set herself up for rejection? she bit down on her bottom lip slowly, the smile she had on her face vanished. if its a no, just say no you fuckin jerk! she thought to herself, but it was so quiet again. it felt like her could almost hear her thoughts.
the smile returned to her face when he agreed on it. she sighed in relief. " umm, cool. you had me worrying for a second. " she laughed. then they got into the name situation. " ringo? nice, exotic.. i like it " she said in all honesty. she did like his name, it was different and unique. " my name, well, it starts with a c " she smiled. " want some more clues? " she smirked. teasing was always fun.

Ringo Allistar WallaceWhen I s e e you, I run outta w o r d s to say,
I wouldn't l e a v e you, cuz you're that t y p e of girlTo make me s t a y , I see the guys t r y n a holla. Ringo smiled warmly as he listened to her speak, giving him her opinion on the whole accent thing. It was exciting that they could make a conversation out of something so trivial, because it meant that they would be able to talk for hours without running out of things to say. Or maybe he was just holding out on the hope that they would see each other again. Most of the people that he met didn’t stay for long. “I guess it’s a nice change then?” he said, somewhat between a question and a statement, but he didn’t really expect an answer from her. “Oh right, yes, the Hook is a night club. Sorry, sometimes I talk ahead of thinking. It’s a bad habit,” he added quickly with a small laugh. He didn’t mind making fun of himself sometimes. He wasn’t self-conscious, but he wasn’t cocky either. He was settled somewhere snuggly in the middle and he liked his position there.
He enjoyed the fact that she seemed to be giving him a lot of eye contact. He didn’t like girls who were looking away or down at his chest when they spoke. It was almost as if they were too busy drooling over his body to really be listening to what he was saying. I mean, not that he had an incredible body with huge bulging muscles or anything, but he was decent to look at. Some girls saw him as eye candy. Very few others, like Cassia, liked to look him in the eyes. He was pretty easy on the eyes too.
He seemed pleased by the fact that Cassia didn’t jump at him for his fame in the gossip columns. Though he’d never been there personally, but his parents had been. It was one big mess, one which he didn’t even like to think about. The thought of his mother cheating on his father didn’t settle well with him at all. He sort of started to fear that the same thing would happen to him, like father like son. So maybe that’s why he distanced himself from having deep, meaningful relationships with people. And maybe that’s why he plunged himself headfirst into his studies, his dark room, and his brotherly duties. But deep down, he knew that something was missing. He could have the money, the fame, and even put up his own studio someday, but what was it worth if he didn’t have anyone to share it with? What would it matter if he didn’t have a girl to talk to at the end of the day? Someone to see him through the good days and the bad?
Nothing, really. Nope. Not a thing.
Ringo nodded as she listed off the things she used to do for fun in New York and he saw himself agreeing with most of them. They were pretty similar after all. “Ahh, well, you’ll definitely have to check out the beach. It’s really nice,” he said with a couple of firm nods of his head, before chuckling as she giggled at his analogy of his dark room. “Really? Wow, I’m flattered then,” he said, though he could tell that she was kidding, laughing afterwards to let her know that he wasn’t being serious. He felt pretty loose around this girl. He’d already laughed so much that he wondered if he would ever get to the point where his stomach would hurt something vicious. He probably would and he looked forward to it. He smiled as she thanked him for telling her to pursue her passions, before taking her phone and quickly marking his number down, before handing it back to her.
“Oh, it’s definitely… something,” he remarked, referring to her very dazzling looking phone. He looked up at her again when she thanked him. “Oh, no, really. It’s my pleasure. There may not be a lot of guys like me in New York, but there certainly aren’t many girls like you out here in Maine,” he said, having no idea exactly how manipulative she could get.
He didn’t know how much time had passed since they’d bumped into each other, but who was counting anyway? It didn’t really matter, he didn’t have anywhere to go. A part of him worried that she would say that she had to go all of a sudden and he would be powerless. He would just have to let her go. He shrugged his shoulders lightly at her remarks about L.A., because yes, it was nice, but it was where most of his family troubles had originated. So even though he was born and raised there for the most part, he sort of came to a point where he resented his hometown. He didn’t say anything else about it, before he was asked about dinner. He didn’t want to lie to her and he didn’t want to spill his guts to her either. Not yet. Maybe in the not-so-distance future.
Ringo bit the corner of his lip when she retorted about being relieved, since she looked a little pale there for a minute. He felt bad for making her wait, but he’d just been caught by surprise. What was a guy to do? “I’m sorry,” he said with a sheepish expression, crossing his hands behind his back as he stood there, his bright blue eyes going to the book that he’d picked out. “Well, I guess I won’t be needing this anymore,” he added, moving the book into one of the unsorted carts. He looked back at her as she commented on his name. Oh, good, at least she didn’t hate it. Some girls thought it was sexy, but other girls thought it was weird. They obviously didn’t have much taste in music. “Thanks,” he said with a warm smile on his features again, a little light entering his eyes as he looked at her. He wondered what she would want to eat. He couldn’t guess much about her just yet. Just that she was a sweet girl, all the time it seemed, and he couldn’t have been more wrong.
“A C, hmm? Alright… give me a minute.” He moved his hand up to rest on his chin, tapping it lightly as he gazed up at the ceiling. It wasn’t long before he had to look away, since the fluorescent lighting was hurting his eyes. Damn him for having light eyes. They were always so sensitive to bright lighting, either artificial or natural sunlight, it didn’t discriminate. They just narrowed involuntarily. “Catherine?” he asked, before shaking his head as he looked at her. “No… Charlotte? Hmm, no.” He looked a bit stumped at this point, since no common name seemed to fit her. He licked his lips with a small sigh, before reaching up to rub his temple gently and extending his hands in a surrender motion. “Alright, clue me in,” he added with a small laugh. She wasn’t going to make this easy for him, was she? Oh well, he liked a challenge. Nothing came easy in life and he knew this better than most people.

( you don't know my name )
she smiled when he began apologizing for getting ahead in the conversation, she shook her head, laughing lightly. she could totally relate to that. she was a big talker, she could talk to anyone about anything forever. even if she hated the person she was talking to and they shared a mutual dislike, she could talk to them about how much she hated them for like 3 hours or so. it was a natural gift. she wasn't like some motivational speaker, she didnt have the charm for that, at least she didnt think so. she was to biased to biased to be one of those, if she had an opinion on something. if she was suppose to motivate people to stop ditching school for example she'd be like "you guys are retarded" and blab on to them why they are and so on. " no, no, don't be sorry, i tend to do it alot too. so that makes two of us. ..and, a night club. would i sound like a dork if i said i didnt do the nightclub scenes? i go sometimes but never get into the drinking and sweaty dancing.. " she smiled. she enjoyed the fact that he didnt seem too shy, one thing she hated was an extremely shy boy with an extremely cute face.
cassia in all honesty, felt like she could stare into his light blue eyes for ever and never look away. they where so beautiful, and she felt like if she stared into then any longer soon she'd become hypnotized and speechless. she couldn't get over his laugh either, so light and adorable. this guy was too much of adorable, it didnt make sense. she didnt think guys as cute as him existed. he had to be one of the best looking guys she has ever seen in her lifetime. it was easy for cassia to stare people in their eyes, especially guys. she didnt ler her eye wander off, she wasnt interested in their body's. of course she didnt mind a toned one, but still. one of the reasons she didnt mind much about staring at their body was because she was still a virgin and unlike other girls sex wasnt the only thing she could think about. people usually considered the guys pigs, but girls could be just as bad as well. but she wasn't, not her. one reason cassia didnt jump at his fame wa because she was unaware about it for one, and also, she believed that could be a big turn off to the guy.
she was actually a fan of ringos mother, regardless of what she did or not, she was great at managing. still, when she heard about the scandal she couldnt help but think that ringos mother was completely out of her head. she would think that about anyone who cheated no matter what gender they cheated with. just the other day, the same day she met jude and that dumb ass dominic. mason had told her the complete story of it, which may not have been so smart of her. she was in complete shock that the girl she was chatting with online was the girl that had cheated with the manager, and that same girl was in love with the managers daughter..who could possibly be the jude she met the other day. that was some juicy stuff, but what would be the point of spreading those things around? people already knew about them..well, besides mason being in love with jude. cassia would stop even thinking about ways to use this piece of gossip if she had known ringo was related to them. she didn't yet, but if she did know, she would back of. she didn't like hurting the people that she thought she could actually in complete honesty develop a bond with. see, she wasn't a complete bitch after all.
cassia then started to let ringo know about all the fun things she liked to do. " yeah, definitely. oh my gosh! do you guys do things like bonfires here, and stuff like that. i only get to see those things on t.v " she smiled. it was true. watching the o.c and stuff like that she always wanted to do beachy stuff like that. thats one thing that sucked about new york, no beaches. beaches where relaxing. she loved hearing the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore and stuff. not many people got to experience simple and calm things like that. she believed new york was a pretty good place to be if you where into all that performing arts shizz. there where a lot of opportunities out there to show what you could offer. the again, harsh criticism as well. so it wasnt a win win situation when it came to that. still, it was her home town, the one she had tried to fir into so well, and changed for. she loved it.
she smiled when he mentioned he was flattered and nodded lightly. then she hear that laugh of his again, she couldnt help but laugh right along with him. she was use to laughing, but usually she was being fake with it. like laughing with a fake friend or something, she liked this. laughing because she enjoyed the person she was around, hmm...weird. that was new for her, and she was liking it. maybe it want so bad to actually be nice in honestly all the time? still, that never got you anywhere when it came to status and respect. she was all about those two things. she found it hilarious at times how some people could fall for her dark twinkly eyes and her big smile. " i know, my favorite color is red and i love sparkles so i thought, why not. its like my little signature or something. " she laughed, his reaction to her phone was cute. still, she wasnt a little girl. but sometimes she could get creative like one.
she smiled at what he said, of he was so right and he didnt even know why. " i guess your right, i mean it isnt everyday you meet a very clumsy girl with a sparkly phone? " she said with a small laugh. in all honesty, cassia didnt like the way she looked. she hated a lot of things about her, the one thing she took pride in was her light brows hair. that was it, she was hardly ever told she was beautiful. in new york she was always the ugly ducking. even when she was little all the other girls where adorable and she was the short and kinda chubby one with the glasses and stuff. she looked like a band geek and stuff. she never denied it, a lot of girls where prettier than her and she just had to learn how to deal. to bad for her, she had no clue she was beautiful the way she was. she had took what others said about her looks to heart, although she didnt show it.
it had been about a good 20 to thirty minutes of time they have been chatting, it felt like 4 minutes to be honest. speaking to him, it felt like no time was being wasted. time was barely passing. " no, it's okay, really.. " she said with a cheeky smile, the one she was trying so hard not to show. her smiles where big and cheesy, she hated them, no mater how adorable they where. cassia loved his name, she had great taste in music. she was a pretty good singer herself, although she didnt feel like taking the singing road in her life. she had the instruments at her home to play and just sing some songs. she did write some, but only when she felt like it. when she had that creative writing mind in place. she wasnt to bad at writing songs either. " and, i wont be needing these. " she laughed setting the books on the shelves next to her. " no problem by the way, that makes two of us with the cool names, eh? " she smiled, knowing he didnt know hers yet, she had said that after she had gave him a clue.
she smiled when he started guessing. her name wasnt that plain. she laughed a little when he agreed on another clue " don't think my mom is a complete goof when i tell you, its a spice. a spice for foods, but - it does not have a n in it so it can not be cinnamon.. " she said. she always wondered why her mom named her after a spice, but then she started to like her name. spice-influenced or not. " put your chef-like brain to work and you just might com up with the correct answer.. " she smiled.

Ringo Allistar WallaceWhen I s e e you, I run outta w o r d s to say,
I wouldn't l e a v e you, cuz you're that t y p e of girlTo make me s t a y , I see the guys t r y n a holla. Ringo hoped that he didn’t look like a complete fool for the way that he’d spoken just a minute ago. Truth be told, he was just a tiny bit nervous. It had been a while since he’d allowed himself the time to indulge in any attention from a member of the opposite gender. He hadn’t really hung out with the guys for a while now either. He’d been trying to work on his film, becoming a sort of workaholic, which was far from what he wanted for himself. He wanted to fit in here and maybe meet a girl. Well, he’d met a girl tonight, but it was pure coincidence. But wasn’t that just another word for fate? When she smiled, it was like she was the only person in the Library. Everything else seemed to blur out of focus around her, disappearing into nothing as he stood there, looking at her.
He tried hard not to blink, almost afraid that if he did, then she would disappear too. When she spoke, it took his hearing a moment to catch up with her words, since he was drowning in his thoughts. "Oh, no, of course not. Would I sound like one if I said that I’ve never really been fond of it either? I mean, I’ll go out for a night with the guys or something, but it’s never really been my idea of a good time either, to be honest with you," he agreed with a light forward shrug of his shoulders as he shoved his hands into his pockets, now unable to preoccupy them with his books.
She was a very pretty girl, Ringo could tell you that without a second thought. But there was something else about her. Yeah, something that he couldn’t quite put his finger on, like a sort of mystery behind her smile. She was definitely a looker, but her personality mattered too, and as far as he could tell, she was the complete package. He knew better than to judge people after only one meeting, but he couldn’t help but fall under her spell. She was amazing and she might not even know it. She might not even know how tightly she had him wound around her little finger. Just a few minutes and he could see himself spending hours with her. It was strange how the human mind worked. He felt like he'd known her his whole life. And although she wasn't trustworthy, he felt like he could confide in her, not yet, but soon. His face seemed to light up when she mentioned bonfires. "Oh yeah, we love those things," he said with a small laugh, since she seemed so excited, yet it was old to him. Maybe if he went with her it would be different somehow. Not that he would invite her anywhere just yet, they'd just decided on dinner. Best not to push a girl right out of the picture. "This is the place where those shows get their ideas, you know. So all of those things that you've been missing out on can be corrected here. I mean, you've never really lived until you've gone to a bonfire. I remember when I first moved here that was the first thing that they recommended. It like, I don't know, makes you feel more like you're a part of something bigger, you know? Like you really belong here."
Ringo laughed warm-heartedly when she explained her cellphone skin choice. She didn't really need to justify her taste, but it was amusing to hear her response. "You should copyright it, just incase someone else gets the same idea," he joked with a firm nod of his head and a smile. "Red is a good color. I'm more of a teal guy myself though. But red ranks pretty high up there." At her next remark, pretty much putting herself down, he shook his head with a chuckle. She sounded confident and he liked that, though he knew that nobody liked every single aspect of themselves. It was only natural. "Not only that, but with a very amusing interest in books," he added with a playful grin on his lips. "Or, well, subconscious."
He watched as she set down the books, just like he had done. So now their hands were free and nothing was holding them back from going to dinner, except... that he didn't really know her name yet. That would be helpful, right? On the way there, he'd have to ask her what she liked to eat, because he really had no idea what she liked. And other than candy apples, she didn't know his taste in food either. So that would have to be settled before they walked around aimlessly for hours. Not that he would mind that, not with her. "I guess so," he said with a small nod and a laugh, since she was clearly teasing him at this point, drawing him along like a cat and mouse game. When she mentioned that her name was a spice, he immediately tried to recall the supermarket shelves.
At home, they usually ordered takeout, so he wasn't forced to cook. But he didn't mind helping around the house every once in a while. "It doesn't have an n... hmm..." He put his mind to work, muttering words under his breath, but none of them sounded right coming from his lips as he looked at her face. There were so many possibilities, how was he supposed to find the right one? It was like a one in a million chance, but he was going to take it. Suddenly, without even thinking about it, he came up with an answer. One that sounded perfect in his head, but he wasn't sure if it would stay that way once it escaped the confines of his mind and entered reality. "How about... Cassia?"

( you don't know my name )
she could tell he was nervous. she was reading him like a book. she didnt think of it as a turn off or whatever she thought it was adorable, that was the best word to describe ringo, 'adorable'. he had those blue sparkly eyes and that cute girn, and the way he chuckled so softly and lightly. she just wanted to fall into the strangers arms and stare into his eyes forever. he carried that type of vibe, a good vibe. she didnt know if she wanted to call this fate, she knew what love was, what love felt like, and she knew how it was to get your heart broken. she had been dating a guy for awhile, since a young age, at times she even thought of losing her virginity to the guy. only, the night she was going to she walked into his room and he was in bed with another girl. she would never forget that night, feeling so humiliated and shamed. feeling like nothing, like she didnt matter. therefor, she couldnt tell if this was fate or not. to be honest, she want to sure she believed in love at first sight. but what if she did? would this be it? she wanted to know all about this guy, and spend the rest of her evening with this guy. she had a big interest in him showing her around campus and she deep down hoped one day they'd run into each other again. or was she in that little girl mode? thinking the guy was incredibly cute, and that was the reason she was blushing so much? she really wanted to get to know this guy, only..she didnt want to make it seem like that, and she was now..
she wasn't shocked when he told her he wasnt a part guy, she was happy. finally! a guy that didnt like to get drunk and wake up with an unfamiliar girl by his side by morning! this was to good!" really?,,I mean, cool. for a second i thought i was the only person left on earth thats not a partier. i just don't understand why people waste their times doing that, there's plenty of other better things to do with your time....like, run into interesting people in libraries. " she teased, she was flirting with him, sure - but she was being safe with it. she wasn't being to forward or crossing her boundaries. she smiled, he was too cute, he was trying to put his hands in his pockets while holding onto the books. she was weird like that, she thought little things like that where cute.
looking at ringo she would assume he was a passionate and romantic guy. that he was sweet and kind and everything. that he was a goofy guy but a gentleman at the same time. usually her assumptions where right, but then again, there where those few times she thought wrong. he seemed like any girls fantasy guy. just perfect, but cassia was one to know that no one was perfect no matter how sweet and innocent they may have seemed. for example, she was no angel. she wasn't as sweet as she played off to be, everyone judged her but int the wrong way. if a person knew the real ways he acted they where lucky, considering, they wouldnt be full of shock in the future once she did something scandalous..yeah, that was one word to describe her. scandalous. " oh i can only imagine being at one. im a bonfire virgin, i guess. it sucks. they seem so cool and relaxing, and just..plain awesome i guess. " she said with a small smile.
cassia was a dork, and that was just really how she was. people could buy her fake act but honestly she was a dork, that side of her was not an act. " when did you first move here, by the way?. " she asked. " yeah, i know. thats why i wanna go to one so badly. ugh, i've always wanted to be like a little beach girl. all my life i've lived in the big crowded new york city. it gets tiring, honestly. " she said nodding her head in agreement, new york was good. then not all the time. it had its ups and downs. " new york has it's ups and downs, but this place..it seems like nothing but peaceful " she told him. " it's scary, moving to a new place.. sometimes i feel like i wont belong here, it freaks me out, honestly.. " okay, cassia was actually being honest at the moment. she wasnt putting on a smiley act or anything, she was being serious. she made without in her mind that she didnt have to act around him, that he wouldn't be one to cause her any trouble.
" i know..i should! " she said excitedly, that would be hilarious. but pretty cool, the librarian had gotten out of her sea to walk down the aisle and 'shush' her, walking away she wanted to roll her eyes what a bitch, ugh librarians.. she thought in her head. " sorry... " she whispered to the librarian who was walking away. she then looked at ringo again, " for a second i forgot this was a library, silly me " she smirked. she smiled once he started to try and guess her name, she had gave him plenty and plenty of clues. " yeah, its cassia. i know, its a silly name. but it's my name, and i like it " she said with a smile, even though honestly she couldnt stand her name at ties, she did grow to think it was special. even if it were a food spice. " you know what, your pretty good..you guessed it right the first time " she smiled. she was pretty shocked in all honesty.
..but in a good way. she smiled and said. for a second she got lost in his eyes, his beautiful light blue eyes. he just had to know how beautiful they where, and she wouldn't mind telling him. " has any one ever told you that you have some very nice eyes, ringo?. "

Ringo Allistar WallaceWhen I s e e you, I run outta w o r d s to say,
I wouldn't l e a v e you, cuz you're that t y p e of girlTo make me s t a y , I see the guys t r y n a holla. Ringo wasn't really trying to look nervous, but he wasn't exactly trying not to, because then it would probably look too obvious... right? Truth be told, he wasn't really sure about much of anything anymore. This girl had him second guessing himself and he wasn't sure if it was a good or a bad thing. It all depended on how well she read people. Some were better at doing it than others. He didn't know much concerning Cassia at this point. Except for her smile, the way she laughed, and that little twinkle in her eye when he would stare at her for too long. But that might just be the lights playing with him and a little thing called reflection. She had told him a few things, like that she was from New York, and he had been in control for the better part of the conversation, which he gave himself props for. But the moment she asked him out to dinner, it was like she managed to sneak passed his barriers and tear them down....
With her bare hands, some might say.
But no one had really been around to witness it, so it could've all been in his head. An elaborate attempt at trying to get himself more comfortable around a girl that might just need a little guidance around the town, before blossoming into someone strong and powerful. He'd seen them before, people coming in with dazed looks and ending up the talk of the town. Sometimes it was for unpleasant things, but still. Ringo didn't really care for specifics. He just knew that he wanted to see her again, after this night was over. He didn't want this to be a chance meeting that would leave him with wasted hope. He didn't want to start seeing her everywhere, hurrying through crowds only to find out that it wasn't her. Just his imagination playing tricks on him. But what else could he do but hope that tonight went well? Nothing, really. He wasn't going to push himself on to the beautiful girl. It wouldn't be right. He'd feel like he was taking advantage of her, in a certain way.
Ringo couldn't remember being in love. Not really. Puppy love, yes. But that was only temporary. But by the way that she blushed and the speed of his heartbeat as it settled somewhere in his throat and didn't move up or down, he knew that this was something big. Something maybe even beyond their understanding, at least for the moment. Or he might just be making a big deal out of nothing. He chuckled and shook his head when she seemed pleased by his response. "No, no, rest assured, you're not the only one. Oh, of course, libraries definitely beat reckless behavior any day of the week," he agreed with a firm nod of his head, though there was a smile on his lips. She was correct in thinking that he was a romantic. He liked doing nice things for the girl that he called his own. That's what a relationship was about, right? Doing nice things for your significant other? Making their day better when it was shitty, smiling through your own pain to keep them from worrying, or doing things that weren't really to your liking, but your partner enjoyed it? He thought so.
He had a good balance to him. He knew when to be serious, but most of the time, he didn't mind being a complete goofball. He liked for people to be comfortable around him, usually getting them to bring down their barriers, but his own went down in the process. That was the catch, the big scheme of things, but he didn't think that he had anything to hide from Cassia. "Well, don't worry, you'll go to one, even if that means that I have to take you to one myself," he reassured her when she mentioned never being at a bonfire. That was like someone who had never seen snow, at least, in his opinion. Many people took it for granted here, but she wouldn't.
Ringo had to think for a moment at her next question. He'd been here for a while now, so he couldn't remember the exact date. And he didn't really want to give away the fact that he'd moved here mostly because his parents split up and the whole scandal thing. So, instead, he just winged it. "Hmm, I'm not quite sure, to be honest with you. I mean, I know how to get around without getting lost, if that's what you're worried about," he said as he reached up to scratch the back of his head with a playful grin on his lips. "Well, this place is pretty different, but it's not always peaceful. You'd be surprised." He noticed the honesty in her voice when she mentioned not fitting in and he could relate to that. "Yeah, I remember feeling the same way. But look, you already know somewhere here, and I think you belong just fine. In fact, I think this town needs someone like you around. Someone who's new and easy to talk to." He didn't want to go on, because he knew that he would end up making her blush again, because he would compliment her.
He watched the exchange between her and the Librarian, to which his blue eyes widened slightly, before he laughed a bit when she walked away. "Yeah, sorry, I guess I kinda got a little carried away too," he said with a sheepish look, before breaking out into hushed laughter again. "I hope she doesn't blacklist us here or something." He shook his head at her remark about her name. "No, it's not silly at all. It's nice. I like it, I really do," he added quickly, his eyebrows furrowed slightly. "Thanks, I guess I just tried to think of something... I don't know, amazing. Because I don't think anything else fits you. It would be like wearing the wrong shoe. You're just one of those people that was born to have a good name." He licked his lips lightly after a small pause, hearing her compliment his eyes. She was too sweet. "Nice eyes? Really? Hmm, well, not really, no... thanks."
He wasn't sure what to say for a moment, since anything would sound like he was hitting on her. But what the hell. "You know what's nice? Your smile. I really like it alot, you should smile more often. It's contagious. You had me smiling the whole time, I was starting to think that my cheeks were gonna fall off." He laughed light-heartedly, before tilting his head to the side and nodding towards the door. "You ready to go? I'm sure the Librarian hates us enough already..." He paused to consider her raised eyebrow behind glasses. "And her eyebrow is really freaking me out." ( you don't know my name )
cassia didnt mind the fact that ringo seemed a little on the nervous side. if a guy never in their life got nervous in front of a girl, either the girl wasn't pretty enough, or the guy was just some robot freak. well, thats how cassia thought of that whole situation. it seemed like during the whole conversation between the two he was very confidant in his position, but once she snuck that little 'take me out to dinner' part in, its like he tore down. she didnt know if that was a good thing, or a bad thing..but..it couldnt be good, right? cassia was the furthest thing away from shy. she could carry on a conversation about anything, absolutely anything. she had strong opinions and a sharp tongue. unless she was putting on a act, she couldnt keep quiet for too long. she was always known as the social butterfly or the sweetheart back in high school, and further back like in middle school the babbling geek. however, as time passed she found herself developing a small crush on the guy. he was so cute, adorable. he had the most amazing eyes, and the most beautiful smile. any girl could look into his eyes and get lost in them. she tried her hardest not to, but she, for some reason, could not, however, look away. she felt like if she did they'd lose this silent connection, the two had this connection, not with their conversation, but with the way they would just look at each other.
obviously, there was some type of spark. she actually felt sparks when she first looked into his twinkling eyes. she felt like a little girl for a second when he, not to long ago, made her blush. she hated that, she hated blushing. she hated letting the guys know that they where doing something right, even though they just might of been.
cassia felt completely comfortable around ringo. he was easy going, easy on the eyes, easy to talk to. he seemed to have a good reply to everything she said, and she in fact enjoyed guys like that. she wanted to see him some time again, thats why she had asked him out, well sorta, in a friendly way. but not even that, she wanted him to be apart of her life, in any way, some way. friends? she wanted to know this nice guy, he was so friendly, and you didnt bump into guys like him every day. it just wasn't, well, real - until, now. this was her one in a million chance. of what though? she was thinking way ahead of herself. " tell me about it, you know, its sorta cool to meet someone who doesn't think i'm a dork because of my personality and such, your a cool guy " she told him with a smile. she did think he was a cool guy, and she had no problem letting him know. cassia did think that ringo was romantic, he had to be. there was something about a guy that any girl could tell if he was a romantic person or not. ringo seemed like one very nice gentlemen.
cassia wasnt much of a serious person, unless she had to be. but mostly, she was a big goofball. even when she wasnt putting on her act, she was clumsy, goofy, and such a big dork. it didnt matter how much she had tried to change from her past to fit in, she still carried a few of those traits with her till this very day. she smiled once again when he mentioned she'd go to one, even if he would have to take her. she would love that!." really? wow, thanks. that;s sweet " she said, she couldn't help it. but the blushing had returned, for a bit longer than it did the last time.
cassia nodded when he said he wasn't sure how old he was when he moved out here to maine " yeah, thats right, as long as you make yourself comfortable in your environment than things like that really don't matter - just curious thats all. " she told him with a small smile. . " oh, really? not always peaceful, hah. i guess your right then. no place if perfect unfortunately, but i hope to be fooled for at least a couple of more days. " she laughed.. some one like her? of yes, he had no idea. " some one like me? ..thanks. i guess your right, theres nothing wrong with seeing new faces and such. new personality's." cassia couldnt help but feel slightly embarrassed by the librarian. she didnt mean to get to loud but she just got excited usually very easily.
she smiled when he said he liked her name. " thanks, ringo ."she said. good, he took her complement the right way. . " no problem, i think people should be complimented more, especially when they should be.. "she smiled. oh god, he was talking about her smile. the thing she hated the most about herself, she wanted to tell him how much of a dork she looked like when she smiled and how gigantic her smile was, but she wouldnt she simply thanked him. " thank you, you know what - your too sweet. "
cassia was more than ready to go. she nodded when he asked, . " yeah - i've never been so ready, yeah - her eyebrows are like some i've never seen before -..and, i mean that int he nicest way possible..lets go? mexican food? i love it! " she told him as they made their way out of the library
