Ringo Allistar WallaceThey'll t e a r us apart if you give them the c h a n c e ,
Don't sell your h e a r t , don't say we're not m e a n t to be,Run baby, run, f o r e v e r we'll be you and m e . It had been a few weeks since their interesting encounter at the Library and the promised dinner plans that had gone over so well. It hadn't been the last time that he'd seen her, for they'd kept in touch and grown closer as time went on. He couldn't say that he wasn't excited about the whole thing. Every time he met up with her, he learned something new about Cassia. His sister, Jude, had apparently become pretty tight-knit with his newfound attraction, so naturally the siblings bickered amongst each other about him getting involved with her best friend. But Ringo was pretty sure that Jude was secretly relieved that Cassia was hanging out with someone like him, instead of some random stranger that could turn out to be a complete jerk and break her heart. But it was awkward too. Jude didn't think about Cassia in the same way that Ringo did. He always seemed to exaggerate things when he described her. She didn't simply walk across the room, she seemed to gracefully stride across it. It was simple, but it was those simple little things that made Ringo attentive and romantic: the perfect boyfriend.
Their parents didn't get along well at all. He spoke with his father once a week, and once he heard about his son seeing the daughter of a Whitlock, it was like all hell broke loose. They were rival lawyers, apparently, who had lost a case because they couldn't settle their differences long enough to protect their client. It was a mess, to say the least, and it didn't help that Cassia's father dug into the Wallace name and found out about the whole fiasco with his mother and another woman. Ringo didn't mind his mother's fleeting sexuality, but apparently, Cassia's father wasn't too fond of the exchange, probably because he was a cheater himself and he didn't want to be discovered in much of the same way. But Ringo was blissfully ignorant to all of the little details. He just knew what he wanted and his heart wanted to be with Cassia.
Ringo ran his fingers through his dark brown hair, which seemed to have grown out a little longer than he would normally leave it. But it seemed that Cassia liked it, so that was all that mattered. It was also a symbolism of change. He was willing to change, to get involved in a relationship, even if he normally wasn't seen as the boyfriend type. He was more of a workaholic, or even a loner. His bright blue eyes looked back into his reflection on the oval mirror in the bathroom as he carefully folded down the collar of his ironed black shirt. Yes, he knew how to iron. Just because he was a guy didn't mean that he didn't know how to look after himself. He believed in equal work, so his sister and his mother didn't have to do everything around the house. Hell, they barely had enough time for themselves, it seemed. It had been a while since he'd really hung out with Jude, and although it saddened him, he knew that it was just a part of growing up.
Besides, he could always ask Cassia how she was doing, if he was particularly worried or curious about anything.
He slipped on a pair of dark blue jeans with a belt, keeping it at his waistline and not letting them drag low to where everyone would see his knickers. He didn't believe in looking like that. He put on some checkered vans, which were easy to put on and took away the hassle of laces, not wanting to trip around her. He had learned that he was easily distracted around Cassia, too distracted to notice any obstacles. One time when he was texting her after he walked her home, he almost walked headfirst into a streetlight. If Jude weren't arriving home at pretty much the same time, which was rather late and he'd chastized her about it later, then he was sure that he would've eaten the metal. Quite literally.
Ringo flicked off the lights and stepped out into the hallway, not even a minute passing before someone brushed passed him and rushed into the bathroom to get ready for something or another. It could have easily been either Jude or his mother. They were getting harder to tell apart with every foot that Jude grew. He didn't want to make a big deal out of leaving, so although his mouth opened to announce his exit, no words came out. His mother didn't know about the conflict between the fathers from opposing families, but he was sure that with time, it would reach her ears. But she was the poster child for being with someone regardless of what other people wanted, so she was one to talk. Not wanting to make any fuss, he silently took his leave, making his way to his trusty car that seemed to get him in and out of any situation.
He already had some pictures on his cellphone of him and Cassia, so when he went to check the time, he couldn't help but laugh at the wallpaper. They had taken it inside of a photobooth, making silly faces into the camera. The quality wasn't all that great, but even a photographer like him could appreciate its innate beauty. Shifting the car into drive and putting the pedal to the metal, he drove to the seaside part of town and it wasn't long before he spotted her mansion. It was a large house, and he could only imagine how many personnel it would take to maintain it, but he knew that somewhere in there, Cassia was waiting for him. They'd decided on a secret meeting for dinner, since her father was out, probably on a business meeting. He was still a little paranoid, holding his keys tightly in his right hand and keeping them from making alot of noise as he stepped out into the cool sea breeze. He had parked in the back, just incase her father came home early and crashed their meeting. That was one thing that he had learned from experience, you could never be too sure with lawyers.
He pulled out his cellphone and smiled warmly as he texted her, Hey Cass, I'm outside. ( LYRICS ) check yes juliet - we the kings ( TAG ) cassia to the keara =] ( WORD COUNT ) 1,056 w/o codes ftw ( NOTES ) taadaa, hope it's a good start =].

( i don't care what they say, i'm in love with you ) cassia continues to fix little things she thought were wrong with her as she store into the mirror. she'd fix her hair, her dress, everything. she was all dolled up, not too much but just right. she wanted to look nice, cute, sorta well - hott for ringo. nothing in her life ever felt so right, no friend had ever got to her the way ringo did. that was because she wanted more to do with him than just a friendship. she wouldnt mind if the two carried on with a relationship, some would say that it was too early. honestly, cassia believed the time was right, the time was now. she was blind herself actually, she was avoiding all the problems, sorta like her mother. her mother always denied the truth and the facts, but she believed ringo was just..right. she didnt care what they said. its only been two weeks, some would consider it short time, but she didnt care. she had a crush on ringo like none she ever had before. she found herself wanting to be true to him, wanting him to like her, and find her attractive. her parents, however..well her father, didnt agree with their relationship at all. she never knew what it was that her father and his father had. they just didnt like each other. her father told her it had to do with business, that wasnt hers. that just pissed her off, if her father told her not to get involved with a guy of the Wallace' family, then she had to know why. she started to dig up a little dirt and she figured it had to do something with one of her fathers clients. their disagreements led to their fail.
still, cassia believed her father was ignorant. she believed he was always trying to point the fingers at everyone else but himself. her father was his own self to blame for his troubles, not anyone else. in fact, she didnt even know ringo was of the Wallace family until after a week or 5 days after they ran into each other in the library. she had fell in love with that story, it was so juicy and so crazy. she now knew both ringo and mason. she had to be doing something right? still, the regular cassia would hold this against ringo, if they ever ran into problems. but, cassia liked ringo. she woudlnt purposely hurt someone she liked, the girl was not heartless. she loved ringo, and his family - well not his father, who didnt really have a liking for her or her father actually. but his sister, she was awesome. jude was amazing. cassia never really had a real best friend, but she felt like she was making one. she felt at home for now.
cassia, however, did make a enemy. dominic, she hated that guy. who did he think he was? she felt like she saw him more and more every since their last run in. she felt like she couldnt get away from the guy she hated so much. after straightening her hair and finishing up her infamous bang, she applied her lip gloss, and that was it. no red lipstick, she was a natural beauty..but she didnt believe it. she loved make up, she felt like it could help seal in who she really was. she felt like she was some ugly lost girl. all her life she had to be the ugly duckling, make up just hid those facts. however, since hanging out with ringo and his constant compliments. she began wearing less make up, playing around with her hair, trying to look sexy. all that good stuff. he had gave her a pinch of some greatly needed confidence.
dressed in this she walked upstairs, the chef was helping her set up dinner. she had asked him to cook Mexican food. she thought it was cute, thats the type of food they had ate when they had went out for their first time. the table was set up, a candle int he middle of it. their napkins and so on set there perfectly. their forks, knives, etc. the lighting outside seemed perfect and it wasn't to chilly for this, plus, form her backyard on the balcony one could see the sea. they could see the waves crash perfectly on the shore. today seemed almost perfect, could it get any better?
her phone began to vibrate and a big cheesy smile lit up her face. she replied " here i come =]" she looked at herself in the mirror once more and smiled. " tonight's gonna be perfect, i just know it " she said, acting cheesy as usual. she walked down the stairs and out the front door. she had left the gate open on purpose so he could just walk onto the property. she smiled at him " hey.. " she said. she was sorta nervous, he was seeing her all dressed up and all. " cover your eyes, close them? " she said, taking his hands, leading him inside. closing and locking the front door, then she led him to the balcony. where everything was setup perfect. " no peeking" she told him on the way. " okay, now..open. " she said, letting go of his hands and smiling nervously. did he like it? what was he thinking?
" i thought i'd do something special, just - just because." she shrugged.

Ringo Allistar WallaceThey'll t e a r us apart if you give them the c h a n c e ,
Don't sell your h e a r t , don't say we're not m e a n t to be,Run baby, run, f o r e v e r we'll be you and m e . It felt like an eternity passed as he waited outside for her response, not wanting to barge in there, just incase she was still getting ready. He knew that women needed their time alone. He had no idea what they were going to eat, so he figured that they would order out and call it a day. The whole point of dinner was to spend more time together anyway, so he really wouldn't mind what they ended up eating. One thing that he did know was that he wanted to look attractive for Cassia. He had always been seen as the cute or the adorable guy, but he wanted to look better than that. He wanted to break out of that label and look more like a man than a boy. But that was difficult to do with his bright blue eyes, though his chiseled face helped a bit. He folded his hands before him as he waited, his cellphone securely tucked into his back pocket as he thought about how far they'd come.
They hadn't known each other very long, but it wasn't like he was going to ask her to marry him or anything. Though that was both an amusing and terrifying thought all in itself. But dating her would also be a big step for them both, especially since the world seemed to be against it. Really it was only their fathers that didn't agree with it, but your parents pretty much were your world for the better part of your life. For better or worse. He knew that he had a crush on Cassia, it wasn't something he had to think about very much, but he was still torn on whether it was a puppy love crush or the true thing that didn't go away with time. It was hard to tell, because it was so early, but it just felt right. Sometimes you just had to go with your gut and stop worrying about what everyone else thought. They weren't hurting anyone by being together. But it seemed that some people still had a Romeo and Juliet syndrome going on. And here people thought that they'd advanced so much in their thinking, when they really hadn't.
Ringo felt his pocket vibrating and he checked the text, chuckling a bit at the funny looking face, before putting it back in his pocket. He could feel himself getting anxious. Was he too dressed up for this? He suddenly looked up at the sound of heels clicking against the pavement, his blue eyes slowly trailing up Cassia's body, before falling on her face. He was starstruck. She wasn't wearing all that makeup, which he felt only covered her beauty instead of emphasizing it, and her black dress complimented her figure. He could barely feel himself standing there. Was he dreaming just now? "Hey yourself. Wow, you look... well, stunning," he said slowly with a smile, barely able to find the words to say, before closing his eyes just as she requested. "Okay, I won't." He trusted her, so he followed after when he felt her take his hands into hers, careful not to trip over himself.
As he walked inside, his nose picked up on a familiar scent, and he could almost swear that it was Mexican. His smile grew brighter with every step that they took, until they reached the balcony. When she let go of his hands and spoke, he slowly opened his eyes, an amazed expression on his face as he glanced around at the scene infront of him. "Wow, this looks great! You did this?" he said as he turned his head to look at her, before walking forward a bit and looking down at the candle and the sophisticated setting. He could even see the ocean from here, even smell it, if he wanted to. It was a gentle scent that was carried by the wind. When she spoke once more, he looked at her again, tilting his head slightly to the side. "You never cease to amaze me, Cassia. It really is nice," he said, before extending his hand out to her and pulling out her chair for her to sit. "Shall we eat then?" ( LYRICS ) check yes juliet - we the kings ( TAG ) cassia to the keara =] ( WORD COUNT ) some number w/o codes ftw ( NOTES ) yay, and so the fun begins =].

( i don't care what they say, i'm in love with you ) cassia giggled when he said she had looked stunning. oh gosh, and she was blushing to. " oh, please.. stunning, really? " she said, scanning him over as well. just to check him out for a small seconds, " well mr. wallace, may i say you look rather stunning yourself. " she smiled. this night was going to go by well. it wasnt likely that she did little small cute tings like she was doing for ringo. then again. it wasnt all that likely that a cute and lovely guy, that was so sweet, so caring, so trustworthy would step into her life. she knew once he saw what she and her chef set up he would probably think she was even more corny, but she didnt care. just seeing him smile would be a full accomplishment in itself. she felt totally confidant with their relationship.. their, weird...relationship. was it really a relationship. sure they where friends, and it seemed like he liked her. maybe she was getting to ahead of herself. smiling as she lead him to her romantic dining scene she shook those thoughts away. this night was going to be perfect, no worries, no bad thoughts, no doubts. just her and ringo eating by the ocean side. that was it. nothing else mattered to her at the moment. she smiled once she let him see what she had set up, the look on her face. gosh! she wish she had a remote control that controlled her world so she could rewind time and see that magical look of his again. it was so cute.
" really? you like it? " she smiled. " yeah, i set it up. and i even helped the chef cook. i always do that, we have the same chef we did since i was a little girl. he's like my best friend. he's a great cook. so, we where a team sort of. oh, and ..don't worry. he pinky swore that he wouldn't tell my parents about this little meeting and,..i trust him. " she said with a smile. growing up her chef 'raul' was more of a father to her than her father would ever be. she had learned to cook so many things by him. rich girls didnt usually spend time learning how to cook, but she developed an interest for it. she smiled when he mentioned how she never ceased to amaze him, good. that was good, that meant she knew how to keep him on his toes and such. " well, i'm just glad you like it, i really am.. thank you, i mean. thank you for everything, like sowing em around campus. sticking around during my clumsy and embarrassing moments, tolerating me, and my.. well, socialness. i really appreciate it, i really appreciate you, i guess. your a cool guy ringo. thanks for just.. gosh, i don't know..thanks for being who you are." she said with a small smile. she really did appreciate who ringo was. he was rich and his family had connections but he was so humble and so chill at the same time. she felt like he could listen to her talk forever and not ever grow tired of it. she respected him greatly. he was such a good guy. any good girl deserved him. he was a prince charming. he could possibly one day be hers? maybe tonight? maybe he would take tings to the next step. maybe she was getting her hopes up?
she nodded when he mentioned eating, sitting down she looked up at him and said, " thanks, ringo. " she said, she looked over at him as he sat down. grabbing her fork and butter knife lightly, she cute pieces out of her food. when she was halway finished with that she looked back over at ringo. she just, she was just watching him, staring at him. she did that at times, but when she did that she would think. in her head she thought, wow, he looks amazing. oh my god! he totally loved this, props to you cass. gosh, hopefully no one finds out about this, or your on thin ice. you know how your father feels about him anyways,..then again, who really cares about him. who needs his approval. he's the one that goes off sleeping with his clients and other random women. he is the one that has no respect for him family. so what, he's a wallace. so is jude, and she's super cool too... this is perfect, to perfect. i wish things will stay like this forever.
she smiled as she took a small bite of her food. she ate, she ate whatever. she wasnt afraid to eat much, back then she did have her insecurity issues but it was more about her looks than about her weight. she just didnt like her face, period. still, she really hoped no one around this town would know about the old her. the wannabee. the band geek, the dork with the glasses, the girl next door, the sweet one. the girl who use to cutt herself, take out all her pain on herself. the girl who use to have some deep emotional issues. the girls who parents insisted counseling on. that girl wasnt her anymore, she wasnt that train wreck she use to be, well...not on the outside. thats all that mattered right. she realized she may have been staring for too long, shaking her head with a small laugh she said. " i'm sorry ringo...for staring, its just - i don't know, there's something about you that makes me do that a lot. i hope it doesnt bother you... ugh..it's just. i look at you some times and i think, wow - i must be a lucky girl to be friends with such an awesome guy.. you know? your amazing. " she told him, taking a small sip of the glass of water placed in front of her. [/blockquote][/blockquote] ( tag ) - ringooo <3 ( status ) - finished ( words ) - 1036 ( notes. ) - they are love <3 sandyrah ?! @ caution for the header. Ringo Allistar WallaceThey'll t e a r us apart if you give them the c h a n c e ,
Don't sell your h e a r t , don't say we're not m e a n t to be,Run baby, run, f o r e v e r we'll be you and m e . Ringo didn't think that she wasn't aware of how beautiful she was. It wasn't something that crossed his mind. Didn't she wake up and look into the mirror everyday? He noticed the red creeping into her cheeks and he couldn't help but smile warmly. She was adorable, she really was. When she checked him out, he felt self-conscious for about all of a second, but her words reassured him that he didn't try too hard and he looked just right. He didn't want to overthink his wardrobe... in fact, it was hard to think at all around her. "Thank you, Ms. Whitlock. That is truly a compliment coming from you. I'll take it to heart," he said with a playful wink of his bright blue eyes in her direction. It was always almost-there-but-not-quite with them. Like a game of cat and mouse. They both seemed fond of each other, as more than friends, but neither of them seemed to have the courage to outright express it. And even though he was a man, it even took him a while to let it sink in.
"No, I don't like it... I love it!" he correctly her carefully with a gentle grin on his lips. She was so attentive, he couldn't help but wonder where she had been hiding all of this time. She had everything he was looking for in a girl. And then he remembered that she had been in New York, otherwise he was pretty sure that he would remember her face. It was a hard one to forget. Even when she wasn't around, sometimes little things reminded him of her. A certain scent that she wore, a song on the radio that they both sang along to at one point, or even a magazine cover that she had mentioned in one of their conversations. He was a detailist, so he remembered the little things. "You can cook? That's a great skill. And it's nice to have a family chef though, we don't have one. What's his name? I'd like to thank him too on the way out... and for not telling anyone, I'll even throw in a bottle of wine or something," he added with a small laugh at the end, though he would have thanked the chef either way.
He didn't believe in treating your maids or house workers like trash. They were there to serve you, but at the end of the day, they were people too and they had their own families and individual problems. Wealthy people tended to forget that. They thought that all that mattered was what was right infront of them and their problems, not everyone else's. It was a wrong way to think, but it was true. Alot of things were screwed up in this world though. The house workers just learned to get use to it, because they were being paid well and they needed to work.
Ringo turned his head to take in her thanks, listening to all of the nice things that she had to say. In the end, he was pretty much left speechless. "Well, umm... wow... you're welcome, Cass," he said with another small laugh, though there was a big smile on his face. This girl really was something. Something amazing. "But it wasn't like I was obligated to do it. It was... an honor. To be your escort, to look embarrassing right there beside you, and to witness you in your... socialness, did you say? Well, it doesn't matter. But umm... well, you're cooler than me!" he finally added, talking slow until he threw out the last remark, trying to counter her compliments with one of his own, but failing. He was too preoccupied with his conflicting thoughts of how to tell her that he wanted to be her boyfriend to really come up with a good response. But it was okay.
He nodded politely when she thanked him, going around the table to find his own seat across from her, taking the eating utensils and mirroring her actions. He wasn't really hungry. Not with the lump growing in his throat with every passing second. But the food looked absolutely delicious and he couldn't just leave it there on his plate. He would look like a liar. So as he mulled over his thoughts, he preoccupied himself with the food which gratified his tastebuds and he couldn't help but find himself getting hungry when he really tasted the food. It was too good to leave. He looked up every now and then to catch her gaze, giving her a smile, before glancing back down at his plate. Everytime he felt like he should just put everything down and tell her, his hand shoved another piece into his mouth, silencing him from his actions. He really liked that she wasn't afraid to eat. He didn't like girls who were picky about food and only ate as much as a cat did.
It made him feel like a pig when he ate.
Ringo looked up, but this time, he found himself staring back at her for a little bit longer. And longer. And longer. He just couldn't look away. This was it. This was his chance. He swallowed the piece that was in his mouth and opened it to speak, but stopped when she began. He was always courteous about that. Girls first. "It's not a problem. I guess it's better that you can stare at me than if you can't even look at me for some odd reason. At least I'm desirable to look at. And I think you have that backwards... I think I'm the lucky one. You're pretty amazing yourself. So amazing, I don't think amazing covers it." When she said friends, he felt a twinge of disappointment. They were friends. That's all. But maybe they could be more. The problem was, would he risk it? He brought his napkin up to his lips, wiping them before folding it back up and placing it beside his plate. He brought his glass up to his lips, wetting them so that they wouldn't be an excuse to pause at the wrong moment.
"So, I've been thinking about this for a while. I find myself really enjoying your company, we have alot in common, you have a really good sense of humor, you're beautiful, you're smart, and you have the best taste in food... and I couldn't help but wonder if maybe... well, if maybe you thought about me when I wasn't around," he said, not spitting it out right away, but he was getting there. ( i don't care what they say, i'm in love with you )
cassia loved the way how he could shock her by the smallest things he said. she was really happy that he 'loved' her set up she helped make for him and their little dinner. she felt at ease when he sat down and picked up his eating utensils. did he really like it this much? actually - who wouldnt. the food was delicious, the set up was very romantic, they where on a balcony near the oceanside, it was just perfect. too perfect. the way he looked was perfect. she didnt feel he overdressed, because he didnt. well, if she wasnt cassia she would've felt that he did, but it was obvious they both liked each other. they gave each other little hints, still, neither one of them had the gutts to actually tell each other. they where stuck in that 'puppy love' stage, the one that teenagers had. the one that made them so shy around each other and giggle at every little thing the other person had to say. they where cute.she nodded when he mentioned her cooking, yeah she was a good cook. it was pretty odd, most rich girls didnt bother to use their hands in the kitchen for anything but liquor or something like that. she cooked and she did it well.
the chef she had now was like family, he had a family of his own but he was really close to the Whitlock family. he would even calm cassia down by talking to her about the good things about life when she was upset at her parents or something. he was awesome. her dad didnt really care for the chef and her mom was to busy to make conversation with him, still, she treated him like a regular person. plus, he made great pay.
it was sorta funny, when she was little she would try and set up her mom with raul. she would so silly little things like add roses to the side of the dish he made for her mom. still, they eventually figured out cassia was up to something and caught her in her little acts. " no chef? wow, i wouldn't be able to survive without raul. he taught me all that i know about cooking and such. i know, he's awesome. oh, you should do that. he would appreciate it." she told him, with a small smile she listened to what else he had to say. thats when she started giving him all the compliments. she had a motor mouth, once she got started on talking she couldn't be quiet. she felt like ringo deserved to know how special he was, thats why she would talk so much around him and compliment him so greatly. she smiled once he told her she was welcomed. she had a feeling she may have said to much, did she m ake things awkward? well that feeling went away when he started to compliment her back. a honor? this guy was amazing. she was the one honored. she laughed when he mentioned that she was cooler than him. she shook her head, not agreeing. " oh, please. okay, how about a truce? we are equally as cool as each other, deal?" she said, a small smile taking over her face.
cassia thought ringo was super cool. he must've been the guy with all the girls and the guy that all the other guys where jealous of. cassia was the big ugly ducking back when she was younger, she always wanted to be cool and fit in with the cool kids. she always acted the way that she wasnt and that shaped who she was today. this fake side of her had blind her through out her life. could it be that what she thought fooled everyone, the nice side of her, was the way she was truly deep down inside her heart. she was staring at him, but he was staring back. she was speechless, what was there to say. she couldn't look away from him.
" yeah, i know what you mean. i hate it when people stare off when i'm talking to them. you are more than desirable to look at, any girl that passes you by and doesnt take a second to get a good look at you is weird, okay.- eh, there i go saying to much, but..ringo, you are very good looking. i'm not going to lie." she smirked when she was told she was amazing and then some. was he aware he was talking to cassia whitlock. she didnt think she was amazing at all. " thanks, ringo. really, you make me feel amazing..."
she studied the look on his face that he made when she mentioned they where just friends. god! did she ruin the mood or something? she could see it bothered him, no matter how neutral he looked. he started off talking again, the words eh started of made cassia's eyes slightly widden and the smile grow on her face, she crossed her fingers under the table so i've been thinking he said. was he really gonna ask her! she felt ready to jump out of her chair and yell "hell yes!" time went by so slowly, it felt like he was taking forever to ask his question..and when eh finally did, a look of disappointment took over her face. her smile quickly returned.
" actually, yeah. a lot of the time, when i'm upset i think of the fun times we had together, it just makes me laugh." she said, taking another sip of her water. " was there anything else you wanted to know?" she looked at him.

Ringo Allistar WallaceThey'll t e a r us apart if you give them the c h a n c e ,
Don't sell your h e a r t , don't say we're not m e a n t to be,Run baby, run, f o r e v e r we'll be you and m e . Ringo was good at knowing exactly what to say most of the time. It was too bad the boy was too good to use it to his advantage in certain situations, like a particular wealthy jerk by the name of Dominic Valmont did. He might have more influence in this town if he did. But the truth was that Ringo wasn't one for attention. Sometimes the only thing he wanted was to be normal and overlooked. But when it came to Cassia Whitlock, he wanted her to notice him. He wanted her to compliment him and like him more than she liked anyone else. Maybe he wanted her to love him. But how did you ask someone if they loved you? It was easier when you were five and you could just tug on your parent's shirt and ask, or bug the hell out of a little girl on the playground so that she would know that you liked her, as more than a friend. But at this age, everything was that much more complicated. He couldn't deny how good it felt to be sharing a romantic dinner with her. Friends didn't do this, did they? Not two people alone. Maybe in a group.
His bright blue eyes met hers as she spoke, addressing his questions about her chef. He felt a smile spreading across his lips as she spoke so fondly of the man. "Wine it is for Raul," he said with a firm nod of his head, mentally making a note to bring a bottle the next time he came over. Well, if there was a next time. He still wasn't sure how all this would turn out. When the compliments were being tossed around, he watched her with an eyebrow raised lightly in curiosity as she mentioned a truce. He pretended to think about it for a moment, one of his hands tapping his chin lightly, before he finally nodded. "You got yourself a deal," he said, skipping out on the handshake since they were holding forks and knives.
It was best to try to prevent any clumsy accidents. The last thing he wanted was for someone to lose a finger or something. Yeah, that would go over well with her parents.
Ringo had never really been the popular guy at school. He liked to read and enjoyed photography, a silent art. He wasn't an outsider though. He liked to socialize every now and then. He knew that it wasn't a bad thing. When he looked at Cassia, he couldn't imagine her as anything less but the high school prom queen, minus the traditional bitchy and manipulative ways. She was everything any guy would want and he didn't believe that she was single. It wasn't until she had set up this dinner, in fact, that he really believed her status. Every time that he met up with her somewhere, he always expected some big, buff guy to show up and wrap his arm around her shoulder, giving him angry glares and scoffs. Not that he had anything to be jealous of. Ringo didn't think of himself as ridiculously good looking. She could easily find someone better, if she wanted to.
Little did he know throughout his self-analysis that she was already smitten with him.
Ringo watched her as she spoke, complimenting his looks, and he couldn't help but smile gently. He was rather modest, so hearing all of this kind of took him by surprise. But then again, he thought the same way about her. "You think so? I think I'm alright," he said with a small chuckle, lifting one of his hands up to dust off his shirt on one side, then the other. "Thanks though. You're a sweet girl. Quite the looker yourself though, the girls must be jealous," he added as he thought about her words. The only one that he wanted to impress was Cassia, so it didn't really matter if appealed or not to other people. But it was good to know that she thought he looked nice. That would be essential later. He didn't believe in a relationship based solely on looks, but it was a part of it. You could love someone's personality, but if their winks didn't make your heart skip a beat, then it would probably turn out to be more of a friendship. Physical attraction was a dominant factor as a boundary between the ships. Sometimes it was all that mattered.
He was well-aware that he was a bit rusty with stating the obvious. He didn't like beating around the bush, but he didn't want to be too forward. When she made her last remark, the water that was rushing down his throat as he took a sip of his drink practically stopped in its tracks and he was glad that he wasn't doing something ridiculous, like choking to death. "I think about you all the time. Sometimes I have to hold back from texting you so much, or I'm standing somewhere and someone down the street looks like you... I just wanted to know... if, maybe," he continued, though he felt his body tensing up. This was it. He was finally going to ask her. "I know it hasn't been very long since we met, and this might be completely out of the blue, and you don't have to say yes right away... but would you ever... consider being my girlfriend? Officially? I'd have to formally come and meet your parents, of course, but..." He felt his upper teeth messing with his lower lip as he cut himself off, not wanting to ramble as he let his words sink in.
This was their moment of truth. ( LYRICS ) check yes juliet - we the kings ( TAG ) cassia the clueless to the keara =] ( WORD COUNT ) some number w/o codes ftw ( NOTES ) haha, i laughed too while i wrote it XD.

( i don't care what they say, i'm in love with you )
she smiled when he agreed on her truce. " thank, god! you had me worried for a minute " she laughed, joking around. she didnt mind the whole complimenting back and forth in all honesty. she smiled looking over at him, in all honesty he had to be one of the best looking people she has ever seen in her lifetime. he had those beautiful green eyes. they where so bright and so innocent looking. its like any girl could just fall into them. they had sort of a twinkle to them as well. they where so light she often wondered what would happen if she store at them too long. that wasn't a bad thing, she loved it. one of the best things about him would have to be him smile. so big, so nice. when he smiled and chuckled, you had to do the same.it was contagious. she longed to see his smile whenever she was away from him, sure the pictures where nice but nothing was like the real thing. she couldnt stand the text messaging, it made her want to so badly to be next to him, by him.
she took another bite of her food, after swallowing took an average sip of her water. she wasn't to hungry right now, but she would eat it. only because raul put so much time in it, if she didnt finish it she would refrigerate it of course. cassia thought that ringo must have been the popular guy back in high school, the guy all the girls wanted to date and all the guys where jealous of. the prom king. he was just pure awesome. she hadn't met anyone like him yet. in seemed as if she had more fun in these past couple of weeks with him then she had her whole life. she always felt something out of her life was missing, she had felt less that way recently. what was it about him? he was almost perfect. was he perfect? did he have any flaws at all? she shook her head when he mentioned girls being jealous, smiling and looking down at her plate she said, " no... not really. i'm just..regular, i guess " the said thing about that was that she didnt even believe she was regular. she hated the way she looked, how sweet and childish she looked, she hated it. she loved proving people wrong, but maybe that was her problem?
cassia crossed her fingers again under the table. the sun was setting and soon it would be dark. she smiled when he told her how he thought about her all the time, honestly. him? she couldnt believe it. why would he waste is time thinking about her. she was flattered. he was stuck back on the question again, her heart started beating again. her skin grew cold. her smile grew a bit winder and curiosity fell over her eyes. " yeah? " she asked him. she nodded when he mentioned they didnt know each other for that long,it was true, they didnt. it had only been a couple of weeks. but it felt like she knew him for a long time. she felt right around him. did time really matter in this case? " it doesn't matter, go on" she smiled at him, after her mentioned his question may be completely out of the blue. cassia didnt believe any question was stupid. she listened to him carefully.
she smiled when he finally asked the question. would she! yes! sure he wasnt exactly asking her out, but he was potentially, right? all her worries went away, that was until he mentioned her parents. what more did he need to know about them. they didnt like him. she had told them about him and they didnt like him. they didnt like the fact he was a wallistar. they didnt like it at all. just putting the three int he same room again wouldn't go good, and to mention he was cassias new boyfriend. that had even more troubles behind it. she smirked, taping her fingers on the table. " i know we've known each other for a short time, but time doesn't matter when it comes between us..sorry, i'm nervous. but in a good way " she laughed.
" anyways, i would most definitely put being your girlfriend in consideration. i'd actually like that. "she smiled. " ...but ringo, my parents aren't to fond of you, so.. even if we ever do date... do they have to know. in all honesty, i don't care about their opinions, i only care about-- "she stopped. she was going to say him, but that would be taking it to far, she didnt want to get to carried away. " but nothing... what they think doesn't matter. " she said with a smile. " they cant control anyone's feelings, so sure. that all sounds good. " she smiled, she wanted to reach over there, grab his hand she wanted to go over there and kiss him, something, anything.

Ringo Allistar WallaceThey'll t e a r us apart if you give them the c h a n c e ,
Don't sell your h e a r t , don't say we're not m e a n t to be,Run baby, run, f o r e v e r we'll be you and m e . Ringo smiled when she humored him by joking around, making the situation easier to handle by giving him a few playful verbal jabs to move things along. She must be reading him like a book right now. He would have been able to keep up with her compliments rather easily, like he usually did, if only he weren't seriously considering about asking her to be his girlfriend. He was nervous. Yes, for the first time in a long time, he was actually nervous. He didn't want to choke up and end up sitting there with a clueless expression on his face, wondering what he was supposed to counter with next because he'd zoned out for a moment. Not to mention the possibility of getting lost in her eyes. They were dark brown, but entrancing, and it was like facing a maze when he dared to meet her gaze. It was dangerous. You could easily get lost in the beauty, just like that. The only real difference between her eyes and a maze was that he actually liked getting lost and he put himself in that position. So, every now and then, he dared to look and got lost on purpose.
It was quite simply perfection through silence.
Ringo didn't even notice that he was eating. Sometimes he did things without realizing them, like locking the door automatically on his way out. It was rather robotic. But he wouldn't stop eating, because he knew how much effort Raul and Cassia had put into making the food, and it was delicious. He didn't have to pretend to like it, unlike some of his mother's food, whenever she dared to get her hands dirty in the kitchen. It wasn't very often. She was usually out doing something or another, or with her girlfriend Mason, or causing some sort of trouble somewhere. Ever since she was on the headlines, the Wallace family name had been somewhere in the newspaper for weeks. The hype had calmed down a bit now, but every now and then people would approach Ringo just to ask him about his mother, to which he replied with a polite 'no comment.' What else could he say? It was his mother's life. When she spoke again, he shook his head lightly.
"You're hardly just regular," he disagreed with her, but decided not to push it anymore because she would know soon enough that he thought of her as much more than just regular. She seemed to be pushing him gently along as he tried to get to the point, noticing the little gestures that she made and licking his lips as he spoke once more, taking her support in stride and letting his courage take charge. He fell silent after he spoke, pausing to give her some time to take it all in and respond. He hoped that she wouldn't leave him hanging and just rush up to her room or something. He tried asking out a girl once who locked herself in her car and started screaming. He never understood why, but apparently it was out of glee. They didn't last longer than a week. She was far too odd and very high maintanence. But somehow, he knew that Cassia would be different. He didn't mind going the extra mile for her.
"Oh, well, umm, I'm kinda nervous too," Ringo admitted with a sheepish smile, not wanting her to feel alone in feeling that way. Though he wondered why she was nervous. She set him at ease with the word 'good,' but still. When she continued, he found himself nodding along, a bit relieved with the fact that he wouldn't have to meet her parents. I mean, they weren't running off to get married or anything. They were just dating. But he'd done the right thing by offering to meet them, even if he knew that it would be a disaster. "No, I guess they don't. I was just trying to do the traditional thing, you know, but... yeah, it would probably be a huge fiasco," he said, laughing a bit to mask his nerves, before she continued. Was that a yes? Before he knew it, he was leaning over the table. His hand moved forward slowly, his fingertips dancing over the tablecloth, before they found her hand, his bright eyes darting up to meet her gaze, while his lips met hers in a gentle kiss. This was only the beginning, but already it felt like it would be forever.
